6 to 8 hours, like a normal healthy adult
around six hours but there will be days that I sleep 10+ hours

Broken up sleep for years. My nose/sinus always swells shut when sleeping so i'll end up snoring and waking up multiple times during the night.
could it be sleep apnea?

I've actually been sleeping at more normal hours since a week now! It seems like I still feel tired easily, though...
When I did work, I often slept in the parking lot because my sleep schedule didnt permit me to sleep or give me time to drive home or I wouldnt be physically capable of driving home safely and id just go to work endlessly with rotating shifts. Id usually go 2-3 days without sleep at a time. My sleeping schedule shifts forward about 2 hours every day, then holds and gets stuck, or fluctuates wildly especially if i have to stay awake to do normal human hour activities. Ive applied for disability but I didnt get it.

I dunno I just don't need much sleep. I've heard it's a mutation or something.
out of all of my disorders and problems only gender dysphoria and this sleeping pattern psychologically can break me.
If you dont sleep and just have to keep going you just start becoming violently psychotic.
After about 20 hours you get real snappy.
Around 2 days you start hallucinating and constantly think about murdering people just to sleep.
Its horrible. I dont have any understanding how people can possibly think I can function like a normal human being like this.

Today I went to sleep at around 2am and woke up just four hours later at 6am. Tried to go back to sleep but there's too much light from the sun, and too much noise from the birds and a dog. I'll probably just take a nap later. Been like this all month, but I prefer it to just sleeping until 3 in the afternoon like I was before.

I tossed and turned all night last night. I never done that before.
12 hours normally, when I feel like relaxing 14-16 hours (I know that's a bit too much).
anywhere between 4-6 hours. some times less sometimes more. this is absolute hell. i am afraid of going to bed and be alone with my thoughts. the intrusive thoughts keep me from having any consistent sleep. and i think i also have sleep apnea.
i used to be able to sleep like 10-12 hours every time but as soon as i got to the age of like 24 or so and moved out from my moms house the depression has morphed into something completely different. i cant even take naps during the day. they usually last like 10-20 minutes at most
sometimes i find myself on the verge of passing out but i never do. god i wish i could sleep again
