Take all unmarried women, of all races, from the ages of 18-30 and rank them in terms of attractiveness. Then take the tranch in the 45th to 55th percentile.

And then do the same for all men from 18-40. No, not 30 - 40. And I said *attractiveness* - we're not after people who are average "looking", we're after people near the median in overall attractiveness.

The men in that 45th to 55th percentile will be incredibly generic. Nondescript guys, most of whom will be white and mediocre. They'll be employed, but not overly successful. They won't be ripped, but they won't be fat. The older ones have a good chance to have some minor hair loss going on.

But the women in that percentile will be ethnic, or fat, or will have kids.

Those are the groups that match each other, not based on who you think *should* match, but based on who is in the middle of the pack of overall attractiveness for the entire set of people in these age groups.

Let's say there are 70 million women from the age of 18-30 in the US, and 80 million men from the age of 18-40. (Those numbers probably aren't correct, but we can really start with any large numbers.)

Rank the women in attractiveness from 1 to 70 million. And rank the men in attractiveness from 1 to 80 million.

Then let's go into the women's ranking and look at woman number 35 million, and go into the men's ranking and look at man number 40 million. Those two people are the median in attractiveness.

That woman will not be a young, thin white girl with no kids. Sorry. There are many things she *might* be - she might be black or hispanic; she might be fat; she might have kids - but she will *not* be a young thin white girl with no kids, because all girls of that type have better ranks.

And unfortunately for you it's entirely possible that man number 40 million *might* be a young white guy who isn't fat. Man number 40 million might be YOU.

Those are mostly life choices you mention there though. It's a bit weird that I would have to date a tattooed single mom with a black kid, just because that's the average.
