yes i agree people being different is what makes them interesting but i dont think being mean is a part of that
nobody was every friends with someone because they were mean at least nobody healthy!

Hey, I never said it was a good strategy lol. It's just a product of a low self-esteem where you think that you aren't good enough for them if you were to be your true self, but yet you still want to interact with them. Baiting them for a response is interaction, albeit negative. It's just that, in that desperate state, you'll accept anything you can get because you want it badly enough. Even if it is fleeting and ultimately pushes them away...
But yes, it's a flawed strategy and there are better ways. I've just had minor successes this way and behavior which his rewarded tends to be repeated. Thus far, none of my attempts doing it the right way have garnered any success....
