Men getting into a committed relationship at a young age (i.e. < ~30) is fairly retarded imo. Those who can't appriciate the time cost required to maintain something relative to being successful have likely never been on a career path that has large potential upside (i.e. MDD, IBD, HF etc).
There is also something to say about the danger of women during this current social climate. False rape accusations which end up absolutly destroying someones life happen too often to just dismiss them. It's all about the risk/reward tradeoff. Some people don't do drugs in case of the small chance they are caught and sent to jail. Same incentive pressure works in this case.
