It's legal in my state. Unfortunately her parents wouldn't approve our relationship, not to the point of calling the cops or anything, but they'd probably yell at me or something, thankfully she turns 18 in 6 months.

They all approve and seem happy for the relationship. But the fact that my mom and dad had a 10 year gap and his grandparents had a 15 year one might have made it easier to accept. This was the norm for most of history, even recent history. Men would work hard and then wait before establishing themselves and showing they had value to marry a younger woman. Now men work and try dating until they're in their late 20's-early 30's and get a woman just as old lmao, what a scam.
