I'm afraid of COVID-19. They said it was just a flu, and that it was only in China...

Perhaps now people here wont be so fucking retarded, or it will at least die out.
>mfw number one killer in the US is heart disease
>mfw corona cases are basically exploding on a never ending basis and will especially target those with big health issues such as heart/lung problems
>mfw most prescription medications are in total scarcity mode since a fuckhuge amount of them are produced in china just so the pharmaceutical industry can grab a few more pennies
>mfw people here STILL cant fucking grasp basic shit such as staying home and the like and think their cheap dust mask will do anything against it or think it isnt even a thing
Everyone here and elsewhere always talks about how much of a bloated beaten corpse things like society are nowadays, perhaps this is the one chance to actually change it. It took the Black Death for all kinds of major changes to happen across the world, perhaps for us this will be the same.

quarantined or not, my jizz still ends up on the underside of the table

It's frustrating. The ebola a few years ago was just as dangerous but it wasn't this bad, because we've reached the point where one side will steadfastly refuse to do something just because the other side thinks it's a good idea, to the extent they put themselves and others in danger. There is not a single thing that they are willing to agree on anymore.

>Yas Forumstards unironically believe the flu is worse and that this is the government trying to take us over

The biggest irony of them saying "just a flu" is that the 1918 flu was absolutely devastating to the entire world. And somehow people have it in their heads that a flu means it's not a big deal.

>yeah its just the flu bro
>even if its infecting and killing thousands on a daily basis in the middle of spring its just the flu man its not thaaaat bad
And I am supposed to feel sorry about Corona icing clowns everywhere, why? Its a little interesting the flu is not considered a big deal to them, but it does explain a lot.

I don't feel bad for them, but I do feel very mad at them because they're not just risking their own health, they're risking the health of everyone they interact with. I never thought I would see people become this cartoonishly evil in my lifetime.

Cartoonishly evil is a stretch, completely idiotic or ignorant is more accurate. Either way I do not recall such a widespread and drastic reaction over just another ordinary disease happening before, pretty sure if the stocks are on complete life support with multiple states declaring full on lockdowns and a global respirator shortage its probably a bit more than just the flu.

Yeah. And the thing is it's all because the government kept downplaying its importance. Things should have been on lockdown in January when it was first discovered to be a thing, then this never would have become a big problem. Yet here we are in April and many places STILL haven't went on lockdown. We're going to have to prevent states like Florida from visiting other states for months after it's finished in our states, because they simply aren't taking it seriously over there.
