I would like to exercise and read in the morning but I'm too scared of missing out on sleep.
routine one:
wake up, wash my teeth , go running ( get in 2-3 hours of excercise), cold shower
routine two:
wake up wash my teeth ( occassionally a brief 5 minute weight lifting session), cold shower, breakfast
if i have shitloads of work to do ( like writing a whole thesis in 2 weeks and i will never make this mistake again, always will inform myself a priori ftom now on ):
wake up , open up my laptop and work for 14-40 hours straight....

Ideals:
>Morning Routine on a weekday: Short run, abs, lats, push ups. Take vitamins and 2.5 g of creatine before exercising. Use lotion on arms and face.
>Midden Routine: Eat eggs or bread or fish. Take vitamins. If no run in the morning, long run in the afternoon/evening with lunges.
>Evening Routine: Similar to morning routine except it includes biceps and triceps instead of the other exercises. Take more vitamins, 5-10 g of creatine, lotion, etc.
Showers are in the morning if no morning workout, and once each time after a workout. Sundays are different. I just do whatever the fuck I feel like and sleep in. I didn't wake up until 12 today. I still took vitamins and creatine though. Coffee is a huge supplemental for focus since I'm in school and enjoy mental activities.

I cannot emphasise enough how beneficial the exercise and healthy breakfast has been every morning. Its not really a protein shake but more of a porridge type meal

In regards to random time, I go along with the schedule based roughly on time. I'll watch nature shows with lunch, sure, but usually not dinner. I don't eat late at night either, typically not past midnight. I basically have a set schedule that I'll pick up on whatever part I'm awake at. I always make sure to take care of my teeth and shower though.
And I try to wake up in the mornings, but my body doesn't like it. It either wants to sleep late and wake up after noon or sleep sometime in the afternoon and wake up around 11pm. Currently I'm on the latter, but trying to fix into a proper schedule again.

Shower then shave. Showering (in hot water at least) opens your pores making it easier to shave. Brush teeth then breakfast. If you eat then brush your teeth, you're rubbing all the food and acid into your teeth
