Video games and anime have done more to destroy young "men" than porn, fapping, onions milk, or anything else combined. Prove me wrong.
You guys should really be advocating no vidya and no anime. But you're clueless.

Last time I checked video games and anime (WTF?? KEK) never gave anyone prolactin buildup, erectile dysfunction, and infertility. Retard.
That goes to show how little you know.
Seems to me like this generation of people consistently find something to blame their deficiencies on. Erectile dysfunction? Must be all the coffee, porn, games, energy drinks, [insert thing you don't like here]. If you find your entire life ruled by any of those things to the point where you're suffering serious consequences, you're an addict similar to that of a drug addict. You're pathetic and should just kill yourself. How fucking hard is it to just do things normally? Play games and watch anime, but take it in moderation, don't let it consume you. Same with anything else. Why is no one on this board capable of "normal"?
But that's wrong.
I play vidya, watch anime, and masturbate to porn.
I’m also in medical school, bench 285lbs with pause and minimal arch, squat 455lbs high bar, and deadlift 525lbs conventional. I’m 190lbs at 5 foot 8 with about 15-17% bodyfat...
But hey. What do I know?
nice cope.
Post body.
fake bullshit. people who play video games have better critical thinking skills, higher discernment of moral situations, and elite benefits like being able to track more moving objects at once resulting in fewer car accidents
Ok
Actually coping would be you immediately assuming I’m lying because I don’t fit your box.
NICE. What specialty do you want to pursue? I'm starting internal med this July.
Sports medicine or orthopedic surgery because I’m a walking stereotype when it comes to that.
>problems have causes
whoa.
cool. The jock stereotype for ortho seems to be gone now. From my observations, orthopods nowadays are usually skinny fat gunners.
When you say sports med do you mean doing a family med residency then fellowship? or PM&R with fellowship? PM&R seems awesome, I did an elective in this January. It's really a hidden gem among specialties. Low stress levels, good job market.
Well that’s good at least. Time to bring it back!
No. Like actual sports medicine. It’s a separate category from family medicine and PM&R.
I considered PM&R for a while but then I found out that the military was gonna cut that from their options for scholarships. However, they need ortho and sports medicine.
What drew you towards internal medicine anyway? I always like to hear from others why they like their specialty. Makes me consider other specialties with a different point of view.
The trifecta of incelism, video games, anime, pornography. Don't want your son to be an incel?Don't let these three things rule their life.
>5 foot 8
So it's all wasted
If my height genetics is all you’ve got against me, then it seems like I mog the shit out of you, loser.
yeah ill just go and grab my bootstraps thanks grandpa great advice
keep coping manlet
Instead of chasing faggot "redpills" as some wishful magic bullet to solve all of your problems, how about you either post your lifts or get the fuck off the fitness board.
Maybe I will, basement dweller.
Minecraft is the best game to play
>no pre-fabricated story, you're the creator of everything
>no dopamine triggering flashy shit
>emphasis on creativity and sustained effort
>proven to hugely impact students and improve their grades
>Why is no one on this board capable of "normal"?
It's a combination of r*ddit, Yas Forums, and Yas Forums. MOSTLY the latter, frankly. Regardless of the mix, it leads to nothing but mentally and emotionally defective cretins shitting up the physical fitness board. They'd be infinitely better off if they'd stop obsessing over retarded bullshit and just went to the gym for a month, but it's easier to obsess over retarded bullshit and blame their problems on either some retarded Trump shit, or The [Insert Memetic Evil Here] Jew. Just demand they post their lifts until they leave.
That is true to an extent. Height matters mostly on an even playing field.
>If you find your entire life ruled by any of those things to the point where you're suffering serious consequences, you're an addict similar to that of a drug addict. You're pathetic and should just kill yourself.
>NEVER IMPROVE
>No narrative
>No end goal
>No win condition
Don't get me wrong, it's fun to goof around in, but it's not even technically a "game." It's a video distraction for brainlets who can't handle even the concept of a direct challenge.
Improve by DOING something, you colossal faggot. Ideally either going to the gym or GTFOing Yas Forums for all eternity.
It's a productivity booster more than anything. End goals are the reason why most games make you an addict, while Minecraft, which leaves everything up to you, gets boring for most people. That should tell you everything that you need.
>muh angry anime pic
>"LOOOL WHY IMPROVE BEYOND LIFTING HURR FAGGOT"
Video games are problem solving. Anime is (admittedly limited) storytelling. The web is what destroys young men. Aimlessly reading news, posting on forums like this very one. You get an endless mild dopamine stream with no action on your part.
>Everyone is already being the best possible person they can be, so the obvious solution is to blame external causes
Yeah obviously people can abuse videogames and drugs to ruin their lives, but most people who do these things in moderation actually find it doesn't have much of a downside.
I'm doing IM because I want to do Cardiology or Critical Care. Loved physiology/pharm. Originally was dead set on anesthesia but I got turned off because it just felt like a "service line" job. Like being ancillary staff. I respect their knowledge and skill, but it didn't feel right to me.
Ortho is an incredible field, but some of the residents seem really overworked during their Trauma rotations. From a gainz perspective, I would guess it would be tough (not impossible) to keep your muscle mass throughout the five year training.
