I lift because I enjoy the feeling of soreness after a good workout. It brings a sense of accomplishment not even sex provides.
I'm a retard though and have no clue how to accomplish this at home so I've been pretty depressed

After giving up the devil's lettuce this is the last thing I enjoy. Everything else feels like a lesser version of itself that was better before.

I do pushups but I never purchased weights for home use and can't afford them now. On top of that I got no place for pull-up bars so I haven't been doing those either.

I lift so that I'm not in constant discomfort from an injury that I got from lifting. At least I can act relatively normally and nobody knows I have this as long as I have a strong core

Ok this is completely autistic but I will say it.
I'm a huge fan of Tom Clancy's games. I like all of them. I lift and study computer sciences so I can enter my country's national cybersec agency, and be as Yas Forums as possible to be eventually recruited as a specialized agent. When I lift I listen to slow rock like Johnny Cash or BRMC and pretend I'm blowing up doors with a squad and fucking up people and other shit. I've started boxing and wrestling because of this.
Since I have started lifting because of this shit, I went from total incel to having no problems with girls and even finding love, and people tell me my transformation inspired them.
I know this is autistic and my dream won't come true, but hey, at least I have a better life now desu.
