It's a baffling article, testosterone has been known to be immunosuppressive for ages, doesn't mean an increase in estrogen will help that. They're even wondering why elderly women have a better chance of survival than elderly men, seeing as post-menopause women don't produce these sex hormones in the same quantities, but it's easily explained since elderly men STILL produce testosterone.
