I can't do one, so he says do 15 inverted rows and 15 knee pushups, rest for a minute, then reduce 1 rep on each workout after every set. When the reps have been reduced to 1, then I need to work my way back up to 15.

It depends, his advice is alright for casual normies, but some of it doesn't apply to advanced calisthenics.
Just do eccentric pull ups if you want to do pull ups. That'll work unless you're obese, make sure to warm up.
thats just pyramids, nothing special. are you fat or something? the only way you can do more pullups is by, well, doing pullups. buy a doorframe bar from wallmart while they're still 20 bucks and get to work. do arm hands as well
