Does Yas Forums look after their skin?
What does this product help with?
And no, not as much as I should. Any recommendations for a good skin car routine for a guy who just hit 30?
it reduces oil, shrinks pore, increases cell turnover and instructs skin cells how to slide off properly as to not clog pore, it thickens the lower level of the skin and creates collogen healing scars, and reversing aging and sun damage
I tried vitamin A, zinc, biotin, charcoal cleansing gels, charcoal peeling gel, charcoal-clay masks, no sugar, no processed garbage, plenty of sleep water and all those memes and I still get acne so I said fuck this shit and just ordered OP's picrel
I'll never fall for meme routines and BS natural products, go hard or go home, life's too short for BS
it also removes precancerous sun damage areas, i forget the name of them
fish oil... keeps away the wrinkles.
wash face before sleepytime, even if you don't shower
yes, put on sunscreen on your face --- doesn't have to be Factor 5000... keep it relative to exposure...
use a back brush, warm showers to get the blood flowing, and avoid wheat, sugar, and dairy
>t. 50 year old w/o crows feet who grew up in FL and now lives in TX
Clearasil 12 hour ultra rapid action face scrub
Loreal men expert hydra sensitive moisturiser
Use these every day after morning shower and evening shower
charcoal and stuff is technically good but all the products in are generally overly striping. Biotin actually makes acne worse, biotin is taken up by the body through the same receptor or whatever as pantothenic acid (b5) which is needed to make coenzyme A which helps process fats to energy in the body but also reduces face oilyness and sebacous activitiy and in some (look on youtube) is comparible to accutane when megadosed. Zinc is also good but most zinc supplements are meme, zinc is also good for testosterone but you need zinc picolinate for it to be absorbed, zinc citrate or zinc gluconate are just memes. As for masks, if you have oily skin bentonite will be better than charcoal which is a bit of a meme as previously said.
sunscreen is actually interesting, anything over factor 50 is in reality no better than factor 50, and factor 50 is only marginally better than factor 30. Either way what SPF measures is protection against UVb radiation (what burns you) but doesn't measure UVa radiation (the radiation that penitates deep and damages dna causing aging and cancer). You should wear a hat and avoid the sun as well as sunscreen.
tretinoin is breddy gud
>avoid wheat, sugar, and dairy
Best life advice right here
the gold standard
how does one procure this shit
not sure why no one talks about adapalene... way less side effects and works better than anything
it is actually an inferior version of tretinoin, but is OTC so easier to get
Literally just go on the ordinary and order their daily kit. It has squalene cleanser, squalene moisturizer, and I think hyralaunic acid? Throw in some retinol and niacmiade (these each just use 1-2x a week) and you're set. Way cheaper than even drugstore skincare shit
depends where you live, in some places its a prescription in others its not, you can buy it at all the online pharmacys though either from spain, greece, mexico, india etc. as it is all much much much cheaper there (like $8 a bottle vs £40 UK vs possibly $200 US). Adapaline is available over the counter in the US for like $10.
adapalene is just as good at treating acne which is what it is fda approved for, tretinoin has proven regenerative effects and anti aging benifits that adapaline doesn't, partially because its not as old as tretinoin but also because they are different drugs. Basically adapaline a more refined tretinoin that only activates certain receptors where as tretinoin activates all the retinoic acid receptors.
Holy Moley !
How in the name of Pete does that feline do that ?
Jiminy Crispers ! How can you teach a cat to dance ?
yeah the ordinary is really good, not all their stuff is good but as a brand they are on point. Retinol and all the other retinol type things are a meme really when adapaline and tretinoin exist, niacinimide is really good though for sure.
If you have acne or acne prone skin I would recommend looking into their niacinamide and zinc serrum for daily use and their AHA 30% BHA 2% mask twice a week, also there azalic acid but I haven't tried that out
they put sticky tape on its paws
Why yes I do stab myself in the face millions of times! How could you tell?
>no pen
self harm casual
the science behind microneedling is actualy rocksolid, but the rollers are bad as they go in and leave at different angles. Microneedling really does work, but its probablly best done by a dermotologist
how do i get a prescription for tretinoin in Canada?
i've been using the ordinary's retinol. don't see much of a difference tbqh, maybe tretinoin will help
otc retinol is a meme, i don't know how canadian health care works, just ask your doctor for a prescription then go and buy it at the pharmacy. If you have socialised medicine though where you don't pay for the presecriptions you might not get it. Its always cheaper to order it online if your in NA probablly best to get it from India or Mexico
alldaychemist, inhouspharmacy etc, don't beg jew doctors for prescription, they will give you shit for even asking while they themselves stuff their stupid faces with it everyday
thanks. is 0.05% safe to start with? alldaychemist has 0.025% too
my GP isn't that great, but maybe i will ask when covid-19 is over
it's probably "safer" to start with 0.025 but who knows if it's necessary, most dermatologist roasties that preach carefulness with this are vain thots using it themselves just for the anti-aging properties, fuck (((doctors)))
0.05 if you have legit acne and not just the occasional pimple. I started out at 0.5 and it did wonders for my skin. My skin was flakey, burning, etc. for the first few days but la roche posay healing balm and la roche posay ezcema cream did wonders for re-hydration and getting things back to normal. I thought I was doomed genetically to having bad skin forever and tretinoin really changed that. I recommend taking glycine and zinc picolinate orally, and niacinamide orally or topically if you truly want to boost your collagen.
its not about if its safe or not, its just about how much irritation it will cause you. Its not like its dangerous, it just causes itchness, peeling at first and then increased sunsensitivity. the higher the strength the more irritating until you get used to it.
I'm a few months into using tret and I'm still half way into my first tube. I recommend ordering 5 or 6 if you'd like it to last a year and a bit over.
