I personally don't give a shit where the weight is lifted- in front of a crowd of thousands vs a garage with a few people, makes no difference so long as it's all verified in a reasonable manner

We all struggle with our own little slice of mental illness. Eddie may be the strongest man in the world, but as long as he’s attached to that then he will die inside. I hope this kills some of his ego (each time he complains about weights and regulations and cheating it is his ego trying to protect itself).
If you wish ill will towards Eddie, you have attachment problems too, and to somebody who is not even yourself.

Everyone is listening to his opnion, having him on things, despite him not actually being the one who is doing any lifting.
If you know you can't try and lift more than 500 again in your career, you can at least profit off someone elses attempt.

Everyone would be bummed out about their record being broken/ someone closing in to break their record, but as I see Eddie, this cheerful childish guy, who doesn't take anything seriously and doesn't give a fuck, him crying is very out of character and he should definitely not do that in the eyes of the media, go bottle up your grief, and let it out in the corner alone.
