sumo makes sense then actually. You could also give close grip, regular stance sumo a go. I've never done it but apparently it can be helpful for adding volume with less stress on lumbar while maintaining similar mechanics to conventional. Sort of like the polar opposite of Candito's weird snatch grip sumo.

I mean I've noticed less back fatigue with sumo over conventional, but you really should just stand more, at least at first. It takes a bit to get the proper mobility and movement patterns for sumo so that you're not just doing wide stance conventional.
