this. also sumo deadlifts, lunges, could even throw in hip abduction/adduction machines. for women the best things to train are legs and core. otherwise unless they’re trying to become a muscle mommy training everything else isn’t as important

Whatever you do, you have to practice what you preach. Women won't do hip thrusts if you have any awkwardness about them. You need to 100% take it for granted that squats, deadlifts, and hip thrusts will 100% get both of you the bodies that you want, and you have to follow through.

Lifting at home is no excuse for not using wheights. Use rice packs, filled water bottles, etc.

I'm well aware weights are a key, I was just wondering how much they were needed as a begginer. I don't think she's scared of weights but I will support her as much as I can. On the record, she is asian but she's isn't flat, she's just thin and I think working out and eating more will build a nice thicker body. I live in Brazil and here we have a strong fit thick cultural thing, I have seen asians get extremely thick from working out.

Nope. Weights are easier because the movement is the same every time. With bodyweight exercises, you have to adjust the movement to make it more difficult.
I unironically do RDLs by standing on two chairs and holding a backpack with a 25lb bag of rice
Hip thrusts can be plenty hard for a beginner at bodyweight 7ntil you teach her how to do a B-stance hip thrust

I think for women there must be exercises more focused on lower body and core.
Pretty much the entire reason I reccomended lifting that just taking the cheap way of just eating more. Actually squatting will give a girl that hourglass look, where her legs are thick and her waist is thin. Some girls are lucky and natually have that fat distribution genetics, but I wouldn't count on it
Bodyweight squats can help a bit. Just do like 50 a day and her legs and ass should get thicker. Cardio is also good, loads of track girls have great asses
She was so thin by the beginning of this year due to stress, quarantine is working well on this because she has been eating more and gained back some weight. Her body is noticeably thicker but just eating more won't do it, also working out will accelerate the process.
