You can't. Are you a NEET? If not, just buy the potassium and magnesium. If yes, just go for intermittent fasting + counting cals+ low intensity cardio. It's not hard to not eat before 12pm and do an hour to 2 of walking around (or go for c25k).
Go from zero to fasting is retarded anyway. You best start out with a week or two of just COUNTING your cals and then after that also restricting them. The counting alone will show you what food is shit and what isn't, without putting any further pressure onto you. Ease into all this shit, or you'll be overwhelmed.

Personally I wouldn't go without magnesium and potassium. If you're mostly sedentary, you won't need the juive on 24h-48h fasts. What you described in the OP is a normal anomaly that simple happens on your first fast. Nothing to worry about. If you haven't lost any weight after 2-4 weeks of caloric restriction (fasting is pretty much nothing else), you have a problem or most likely are doing something wrong, but not after one day of fasting.
