How do you develop discipline?

I binge eat every day and have rapidly gained weight. I keep digging myself into a deeper trench because I heard that you can only gain a max of .5 pounds a day so I just say fuck it when I overeat and it turns into a crazy binge that makes my organs and heart hurt.

Fasting, keto, whatever I can’t stick to it for even a day.

The body can absorb around 20,000 calories in a day.

Have goals. I've been doing Olympic weightlifting for more than 3 yrs now and never really bothered with my diet, just kept protein high and ate whatever i wanted or overfed. And now I see all the fat I've accumulated and it's just not helping my numbers at all. Fat doesn't make you strong. So I'm on a cut for the first time ever (except precomp mini cuts). I'm tired of being skinnyfat. So I'm not going to eat shit anymore and neither should you OP

Meaning the more you eat, the less you will absorb, but that number depends on several factors.

By the way you start absorbing calories the moment you put food into your mouth, literally as saliva touches the food, you start getting those calories, its not just when its in your digestive system in your gut.

I do have a hard goal but I keep pushing myself from it.

You develop discipline when you have no other options. Realise that you are killing yourself and losing touch with what really matters in this short life. Go out and feed some ducks.

Then become your goal. Whenever you feel like eating dirty, look at yourself in the mirror. One this is to suffer, another thing is pain.

If your goal is for "muh pussy" youre never going to do it. Women are overrated.

Unironically just not wanting to be fat, and wanting to avoid health issues with fatness, is what got me to get lean, and to stay lean and not binge on 1000s of 1000s of calories.

If my only motivation was women, I'd be a hamplanet.

Dude i just started lifting heavy shit and worked construction and continued to binge. Now its 8 years later and i still bingeat, weigh more (80kg before, 110 now) but i can squat 200kg now and have a freaky wife and am becoming and engineer.
