I am 22H into my second fast. Going for 48H for the first time ever. Not hungry at all with this juice. It tastes exactly like the saline solution they use to rehydrate you or a little like Gatorade without additives.

I think the Himalayan sea salt is for taste. I've never used it before and it tastes great to me.

Intermittent fasting has proven benefits. This is a hydration solution to prevent you from normal feelings of faintness if you were drinking just water... Nothing oily about it.
I tried this, it doesn't work and tell me I got 1.3% body fat
Weird. It worked for me. It may not be programmed correctly for metric folks
I put it in the other metric and still says 1.3%, it probably isn't a good measurement website

I don't know. I got a lower number and a higher number on different websites. The point is that I'm overweight and fasting is helping me lose weight.

Pic is a repost. but it's not easy. You will get a hunger pang. Just gotta fight through it. You can either build like a 72 hour routine or you can fast to the bone which is what I did. I was 300lbs at my highest now I'm 160

don't fast in my opinion unless you think you can go through with the hunger. What I did was eat 400 calories of high protein foods like salmon and chicken breast/thighs, and I felt so full. You can suplement with diet fanta, diet lemonade etc.

how is it bait? Thats what I do and it works fine, I usually eat one 177 calorie salmon and feel full then another one like 6-7 hours later when I'm hungry again

how much salt do you plan on consuming then for the rest to be of any meaningful quantity
I actually only consume ΒΌ tsp of all the salt listed per day.
I really want to try this but:
1. I'm already down 22lbs over two months doing IF (246lb to 224lb).
2. My lifestyle includes 4-6 days of working out which includes two days of conditioning/cardio. Translated: I get hungry.
3. I've watched his videos and he recommends not to do a damned thing exercise wise.
4. Just before the Wuhan Watusi, I had paid for a six week olympic lifting course that will fire right back up once we're allowed to go to the gym again. I'm not missing that.
After the oly course is done, I might switch from IF to Restricted Calorie + 2 x 24 hour fasts per week. I think it might put me down to 200lbs finally. To be honest, i'd be happy to hit 215 again.
OMAD is still fasting

why do online calculators calculate sendentary (sitting down) as more energy than the baseline BMR? You're not moving or anything so why would sitting down use more energy than BMR?

BMR is sort of what you'd burn if you were in a coma. Being awake, even if sitting all day, burns more than that.
well The Himalayas were created when the indian subcontinent crashed Asia. Maybe the salt is left over from then.

Stick to 72hr fasts and think about your calories on the week/month scale. In order to feel satisfied and have good hormone response don't restrict calories on the day.
Possible schedule: eat Sun, Mon,Thur. That's two 72's per week. 8 per month. I personally like eating on consistent days rather than just rolling 72s. You should lose minimum 3 lbs per week. This can be more if you exercise and keep carbs low or burn off those carbs w exercise.
