makes me feel pretty good knowing there will be basedboys actually believing this and letting themselves go while i thrust in their crushes with my muscular hips

i just came back to this board and just see that they censored S O Y to based. bruh see you in another two years fucking S O Y B O A R D

>5'8
>no abs
>described as "medium build"
When I think of that, I think of a four-letter D word that isn't "damn"

I kinda agree with it a bit. People here do focus on gym muscles and never use functional strength. Just join a sport or a martial art and learn to use your body in settings that aren’t just lifting heavy shit up and down. I stopped reading when it started talking about that faggy dyel tho

>implying any of you fucking nazis can compete with the SWOLE LEFT

We. Punch. Nazis.

Yes, being an obese diabetic queer is the way to go.

3 things:
1: the article is lumping everybody who fresno's in a gym in the same category—that is, focused on aesthetics only (not that there's any problem with that). some people train for strength or because they enjoy it
2: who cares? I bet a lot of people don't particularly care about how "functional" their strength is (which basically means how helpful is for sports).
3: the article talked about that manlet pumping out "25 pushups like it was nothing" as if that's impressive and also both bragged about his sit-ups and told you sit-ups suck 2 paragraphs later

overall nice find op. good bait i think.

>Liberal faggot tries to cope by putting down other's accomplishments
>Caring what a bugman who writes for Vice thinks
Next article.

That is the biggest article cope I have ever seen.

The authors only other article on vice is something describing his battle with anxiety based on his perceptions of the weekend lives of others

>i just came back to this board and just see that they censored S O Y to based
that happened years ago and it's only when you append boy to it, otherwise it filters to onions. pretty sure all boards but /ck/ do that

Dude, it's fucking Vice. I should not have to say more.

Sure buddy

> the fact that many skilled rock climbers often can't do pull-ups, a gym favorite that has surprisingly little real-world application

Yeah I'm gonna call bullshit on that.
This whole article reeks of skinnyfat cope.

/thread

The dude in the articles name is literally "COPEland"

>linking directly to a vice article
Desperate for clicks I guess. Here's an archive

archive.vn/P8jK0

Total goddamn horseshit. I refuse to give those dickbags clicks, did he actually write that?

Climbers literally do dozens of pullup variations on grip boards all the time. Go to any climbing gym and see for yourself.

enough of the functional strength meme, rock climbing is less of a real world activity than anything I do in the gym, I lift 6 days a week
I cant remember the last time I went rock climbing

>> the fact that many skilled rock climbers often can't do pull-ups, a gym favorite that has surprisingly little real-world application
>Yeah I'm gonna call bullshit on that.
Lol, what?
pullups are like the opposite. A lot of buff dudes can't do them without specifically training for it, whereas even your average beginner climber can easily pull them off.

But other than that, I kinda agree with the whole
>most bodybuilders are useless
angle, especially coming from rock climbing.
I don't know how often some Yas Forumsguy shows up at the gym the first time and immididately wants to start with some cool looking overhang and they can't even leave the ground. And then they begrudingly accept that they maybe should try some vertical 5.10 or 5.9 to start with, and then they even fail at that, while some skinny little girl just runs up that easy 5.11 right next to them.
Even more fun when it's outside and they finally manage to leave the ground on some 5.8, but then shit their pants when they're a few feet above the last bolt…

Posting unarchived links in the OP should be a bannable offense.

>someone who can pump out 25 pushups like its nothing
so literally just anyone?

This.
Strength is strength.

Your candid faith in humanity is touching, user

onions

basedboy

holy shit they're actually censoring the word S O Y, fuck this board man...

> "many skilled rock climbers often can't do pull-ups"

I call bs

Sorry but if you are gay you have to be a muscle man.
