Home dip station

Any of you guys figured out a way to do good quality dips at home yet? Homemade dip station or something? I got me a pullup bar and like 20kg in small plates so if I could just figure a way to do dips safely and effectively I could get a good workout in

I tried to use my chairs but I don't trust my wooden ikea furnitures to handle 45 kg of weight. I've heard you can do some sort of dips using the edge of your couch/bed but I haven't been motivated to do it.

As soon as quarantine ends I'll buy a proper dips/pull-up station.

Just get some fucking rings and hang them from your fucking pull up bar you'll make fucking sick gains bar dips are for coping weakfags

literally and unironically i'm using a walker. i don't have any other way in my house to do dips (no straight backed chairs), and it works out surprisingly well

Rings dips are simply superior to bar dips. It's like barbell squats vs smith machine. Just get some damn rings.

tried my treadmill handles, which are a bit wide....and a 45 plate just hits the ground

i've swapped it for more close grip bench work, and seeing good gains on the bench

You can do them on chairs, it actually works wonderfully and doesn't feel like some janky solution

Wouldn't recommend weights though, for reasons that should be obvious

I bought an attachment that goes on my power rack. Works pretty good.

I have a squat rack so putting empty bar on it and dipping arms in front. Is mad, never done them like this before and it looks like it works better than arms side
