I have a pull-up bar, two adjustable dumbbells and 132lbs worth of plates.
With your set-up, I'd do bodyweight exercises
All the idiots are going to immediately rush the gym so I'm going to wait till June.
I've been doing some strong man shit with stuff I found around the house. Found some logs I've been log pressing, a heavy ass metal bathtub I've been deadlifting and bentrowing, been bicylcing, and just took out the bowflex I got for free the pr1000 it says. It's actually going pretty well so I'm not wasting away.
>implying this thing will be over by june
name of girl
I'm saying the excess idiots that are going to go to the gym just because it's something to do. I think by June it'll be back to normie mode.
i have no equipment and no space and i REALLY want to get fit asap because reasons
i have access to an apartment stairwell and a rooftop that mostly go unused at all moments of the day, especially nighttime
are there any good yoga mats for calisthenics and body weight exercise? all the ones i've seen look like they'd tear themselves apart on a concrete surface
please help i need to get fit so fucking bad
I'm in the same boat. The gym is going to be absolutely flooded for the next few weeks, so I'm just gonna chill for now. I've found plenty of heavy stuff to move around my house to keep my muscle and this gives me more reason to keep running
Why do y'all do this? Do you need to jack off to every single cute girl that gets an Instagram photo screenshot passed around random threads? Give it a fuckin rest man
same. It is so fucking comfie to workout outside watching the clouds roll by as you do bench press even if it is a bowflex benchpress with like 30% of my max.
I've really taken the redpill of needing a homegym. Just need to figure out how to make this shit rustproof.
Girl is 16, don't be a pedo user
You NEED a door frame pullup bar OR RINGS (get gymnastic ribgs), paralette bars, a backpack with books, and some resistance bands.
Bicep curls and rows with bands, chin ups, pullups, weighted pushups, clap pushups, band pull aparts, squats, hanging leg raises, L-sit, etc. These will get you started.
I only have 20lbs dumbbell and all i do is forearm exercise
I dont got shit I just do burpees till Im close to passing out.
It’s been awesome working out shirtless. I’m mostly doing calisthenics so I miss the variety of equipment in the gym but feeling the wind and sun on my skin while working out is tantalizing.
I have hair on my shoulders so always wear sleeved shirts since I'm self consicous about it but since being home I've worn some of the tank tops I bought a long time ago and I have to say it's so much easier doing OHP and shit without having to worry about sleeves.
By December I am hoping to have my own homegym
dumbells of various sizes. Some resistance tubes
a doorjamb pullup bar, some gymnastics rings.
All I ever use are the gymnastics rings, and do breakdancing.
backpack filled with every book i could fit in, got about 14kg
I go to a private gym 2 hours away once a week and go hard on clean and press, squat, and deadlift and then I do improvised "dumbbell" (a gallon of water weighs around 7.5-8 pounds) workouts
Steady progress and new skills going well
"No."
i would, i absolutely would, but i have quite literally zero space for any of those (and before you ask, no there is nothing here that i can feasibly get rid of to make space, nor is there any way to move anywhere bigger anytime within the next two years or longer for a host of reasons including the oversaturated rental market and lack of family/friends, not to mention the quarantine)
there is barely enough room for me to walk from the pc to the bed, or to the bathroom, or the kitchen
sorry but them's the breaks, i either use the roof for calisthenics or don't get to work out in any way at all for an extremely long time
besides i only really want to work out my core and lower body for uwu reasons
For cardio jump rope.
For HIIT sprints, box jumps, burpees.
weeb
I try to do my best with an improvised sandbag and two 8lb dumbbells
Just ordered a doorframe pullup bar and a jump rope. Maybe gonna invest in some dumbbels also
just extremely poor with no way out of the housing market without losing access to everything else
Upper lower split I guess.
Weighted push ups
Weighted pull ups
Bodyweight pushup variations
Curling my duffel bag
Weighted lunges
Vertical jump (google power jump)
Bodyweight hip thrusts
Sprints
Occasional longish runs for cardio.
God l hate this. I miss OHP.

I have a home gym.
Best 3k I ever spent. Saved so much time and money with it.
