desu the full pistol atg squat
hspu, planche pushups, front lever rows, one arm chinups.
but you need lots of conditioning for any of those so maybe stick to weighted basics
Impressive to normies, maybe.
Free handstand pushup is pretty much a requirement for planche
I agree with this guy on all these exercises being well into advanced territory.
A single one arm-handstand pushup can only be cheated by passing from closed legs to straddle on the way up, and that by itself is an exceptional feat only a handful of people are capable of.
its not, its normie tier like human flag. as for real ones:
- one arm pull up
- planche
and if u want some real shit drillsandskills.com
freestanding one-arm handstands have never been performed on earth
arguably, it's impossible to balance at the bottom of the movement, but even with a wall to help out, no one on youtube has ever done it with good form.
not relatively hard desu, been doing them since i was 16
one arm chinups aren't the hardest, but they're definitely the most impressive
*freestanding one-arm handstand pushups
>freestanding one-arm handstands have never been performed on earth
seen a teenage chink acrobat perform one in Macau, and he was on the tip of a pole held up by his buddies to boot
Ring support to handstand
God I want to do free handstand pushups, but I'm 'cursed' with being 6'2" so I'm already at a disadvantage for doing most calisthenics. The amount of shoulder strength I'm gonna need to gain and weight I'm going to need to lose is gonna be absurd
I think you mean this move at 1.05:
youtu.be
Then you're just going to end up more muscular when you finally do them friend
It's an intermediate level move, you can do it
that's not that hard really
could do them after trying 2-3 times and I don't even do barbell squats
it's about how much you weight, not how tall you are.
It's similar to achieving a bodyweight ohp.
I'll try my best
>it's about how much you weight,
Oh I know, it's just that I inherently have more weight simply on account of being taller
Look up Daniels Laizans on yt. Arguebly the best street workout athlete atm. Dunno how tall but dude has mad control over his body and he's no older than 21 I believe
Same here but it's not really that dramatic.
I'm about 185 lbs and I can do 3-4 handstand push-ups (altho with an arched back). My OHP before quarantine was about 72kg and I think it makes sense since hspus have a shorter ROM
Op here, any tips or advice on free standing handstand pushups?
Thought it would be super easy other than the balance because I could do like 10 with minor wall support, but this was with my hands a bit over shoulder width apart. All the videos I've watched advise hands being closer together, incorporating triceps more which I find way harder.
Also just ordered some parallettes to train with.
I want to leave lockdown ready to slay some puss
how you build pecs w body weight, been doing push ups and dips but they aren’t progressing fast enough
Increase volume
Also decline diamond push ups are pretty nice
1 arm dips
1 arm pushups
start by doing inclines
even safer than dips
You probably are doing them completely straight down on the wall. Which is doable freestanding, but it's more useful to learn them by leaning forward like in the initial pic, that way you involve your anterior delts way more.
Also learn to balance in all 3 parts of the movement. Try hold the handstand on the bottom position and middle position.
Maltese or the planche on your fingers
you can't learn a freestanding HSPU in six weeks unless you're a freak autist
Planche pushups are the most impressive thing other than pullup bar stuff to me atleast, mostly cause i found out about psuedo planche pushups and they're hard as shit, max is 10 on them, and with a super exaggerated lean it's more like 6, gonaa try progress to a planche and a pistol squat during this quarantine.
>be me
>see all these sick cunts doing planches and handstand push-ups
>be also me
>be 196cm / 6'5"
be brutally honest with me, bodyweight bros. is there any hope for me to pull this shit off with my lanklet genetics? YouTube vids show people at 185 cm/6'2" pulling these feats off after years of training and treating it as if it's a miracle...
>tfw skeleton too heavy
hspu 100%
planche and front levers, being such a pussy I doubt it
bro even at 6'2" i only see guys doing straddle planche. i'm gonna go as hard as i can but i'm not seeing even a single claim of a dude my height hitting a full planche anywhere i look
Planche probably not
