A Yas Forumstard asking for help to Yas Forumstards: I am slightly overweight, not by a ton, but I have a beer belly I'm trying to shave. I have never excercised. I am at day 5 and I am already losing hope into sheding my excess fat, what can I do to find some more motivation? Envy of penis lenght and hatred for fit guys can only motivate me so far apparently.

bump

never ask anything to the gymcels

heres what you do
>read the sticky
>get into a routine
literally doesnt matter, can be 20 pushup and 20 squats a day, just make sure you do it EVERYDAY and it will become a habit, then it becomes easy
>cut out all sugar
not really feasible if you buy any sort of prepackaged food, but at least keep it under 30g a day
>dont worry about progress just accept that this is your life now
time goes by extremely quickly. think about where you were 1 month ago. what if you had started back then? do you remember every beer, every pizza youve had since then? where will you be in 1 month? will you look back and wonder what would have happened if you started today

You cant empty a bucket by filling it with water. Snake diet.

The problem is, it's hard to stick to a program, and I'm doing all this just to look average, what's the point? I'm not closing myself in a gym 2 hours every day for the rest of my life, I just want to get to a decent level and then stop.

>think about where you were 1 month ago.
Holy fuck great advice. This is an awesome perspective. Months pass before our eyes.

>"Self-described "fasting coach" Cole Robinson is touting the benefits of the Snake Diet, which entails eating as a snake does"

I don't like the taste of rats.

sorry friend youre not gonna make it with that attitude. get the fuck off this board please

>think about where you were 1 month ago.
Quarantined, just like now.

Nobody ever said it was going to be easy nigger. It‘a time to nut up or shut up and go back to Yas Forums.

You're a loser, just stay chubby

I already know I have to stick to the program and shit like this. I'm doing it. I'm trying as hard as I can. I just can't seem to find the motivation, I started in a craze of depression and now I am just wondering again "why am I doing this?". I came here to ask for motivation, why do you all do it? You're on Yas Forums, so you're all clearly not popular party animals, so what's driving a normal Yas Forums user to work out everyday?

i mean i weighed 240 pounds at start of quarantine and weighed in yesterday at 215. not being pressured into eating out with friends has made it so easy to keep track of calories

Don't bother then

Like anything in life that is worth doing, it is a very long arduous process that requires continuous discipline

If you're not prepared to put in the effort, then get the fuck off my board

once you see progress it becomes addictive
i think i can speak for the majority of the board, we unironically love working out.
stick with it for a month without skipping a day, and I guarantee you'll get there too

cringe

I hope so. I'm giving up on tasty food, valuable gaming time and sleeping without back pain, it would suck to not see any results.

post body

Fuck motivation, just do it anyway. Losing weight sucks, and your brain will convince you any way it can to eat all the shitty foods in the world of you let it

You're depressed because losing weight is hard on the body and mind, your hormones go crazy. You're stress hormones go up and your hunger hormones strike with a vengeance, you're brain is used to releasing dopamine as you shovel deep fried McNuggets into your fat gob. Drink beer often too?

Your body does not like losing fat, there are built in survival mechanisms to prevent this. Often putting you on discomfort, which you are currently feeling

People here work out because it's awesome, eventually missing a day at the gym or running or whatever will be frustrating. The first few months suck

Ever take your shirt off in the mirror and smile? Has a really pretty girl ever told you that your are hot? No? Well, stay fat

t. dyel

Fuck off

thing is tho, it's your lifestyle that led you to look like you do.
if you want to look different, you have to change your lifestyle (eating habits & exercise level).

if all you want is to change your lifestyle to look decent, and then go back to your old ways, it won't take long until you look like you previously did.

it sounds daunting, but the most important thing is getting a rutine. you'll need some determination in order to set a rutine, but after that if get much easier.

>20 pushups and 20 squats
is that routine really too hard for you?

I only weigh 198 pounds tho, I don't "hate" myself. I just want to go slimmer a bit, maybe shed some pube fat.

My legs start to hurt at 5 squats.

read the sticky faggot you cant target fat loss

that means you need to do them

>only weigh 198

with bodyweight squats?

>dont worry about progress just accept that this is your life now
pretty much this, if you look in the mirror every day you’ll just get discouraged

My initial thought, if you're not 6'0 this is not an optimal weight lol

Okay, then don't waste your time or ours.

Compared to americans I'm an opera dancer.

Then post body

You're never gonna get anywhere. At least you'll serve a purpose and me us look better by comparison.

I will get rid of my belly and make a post in a month with this comment, bitch ass faggot.
