The big weights are 100lbs each and the small ones are 45lbs each. Just concrete in buckets. The whole thing cost me around $75.
> bump
what an ugly incel-tier home
The safety being built on a bit of thing chipboard doesn't look good
Post yours then faggot
Sorry man, thought you'd just saved a pic from somewhere. Didn't mean to be a bitch.
I'm calling OSHA.
Looks overbuilt and unsafe at the same time.
Have tested it up to 400lbs (me + loaded bar). It's 1" plywood do you think it'll hold?
R8 my pl8s m8s
I wouldn't trust those bolts to hold the weight user
I built it for squats, pullup, seated ohps, dips, and different bench orientations tho. Since it's not bolted to the floor I had to overbuild for stability.
Feedback appreciated pls
> another bump
>Since it's not bolted to the floor I had to overbuild for stability.
I don't see what that big rectangle sitting on the floor can do for you though. Meanwhile, the whole thing has nothing to hold it form wobbling laterally (turning into a parallelogram).
Also, the weights seem to rest on some thin stuff, but maybe that's just the pic angle.
So you live at your parents' place? Why do you have so many shoes?
I used to be a richfag slayer before I became a lifting incel poorfag so I have acquired a lot of shoes, watches, clothes etc that I don't use now and don't want to get rid of desu
Thanks for the input user I'll cross-brace to prevent parallelogram. Can't bolt it to the wall or floor unfortunately
>I used to be a richfag slayer before I became a lifting incel poorfag
Storytime pls
with your hand at face level, push it from left to right and see if it holds the square angles
Bought a bunch of crypto shitcoins. Went from having $500k something to less than $100k now. I live in a poverty subsidized housing now with a bunch of boomer basketball americans. I'm a NEET cunt too
Yeah I've tested it and it hold without parallelograming with me pushing it but I'll still cross brace in case I have to throw the weight. Max weight I have rn is 2x100 + 2x45 + 15lbs bar so it's only 305
>100k
>subsidized housing
not how it works nigga. i get denied for food stamps when i have more than $600 to my name.
Yeah but I'm a wageless NEET and they can't / won't acknowledge crypto. When I moved in a year ago the requirement was my income had to be
Trust me when I say you don't want to do that.
I mean, do you even have the momentum for a triple-flip calf-flip smackdown double roll?.
Shoulda put safeties through the 4x4s
Hard to say since I'm coming off a dreamer hulk rn. Momentum is m*v and my mass is greater but my speed is slower than it used to be. Will need to run the simulations desu
Forgot pic.
Got a couple 45lb plates my roommate found. Also have been making concrete plates from pvc, quickrete, and plant saucers
Mirin the bar lad. Why is the rack so tall though
Was going to build in a pullup bar at the top, but then decided I preferred having the two sides of the rack to not be connected together. Makes it easier to fold up along the side of the house when not in use
Someone in SoCal is selling these bad boys for 600 they look pretty sturdy if you can replicate it
I ended up adding a little more support on the bench hooks and added hooks for squats/overheads. But fucking terrible weather over the past couple weeks is stopping me from using it.
That's a sturdy looking setup. Whoever makes those must be really talented at woodworking because getting something to come out as pristine and precise as that is hard as fuck
Anybody got any ideas for adjustable Olympic dumbbells?
I have all the 2 inch and 1 inch tubing you could want. I was thinking of fixing a long piece of the 1 inch pipe inside the 2 inch pipe with concrete and using the bigger one tubing as sleeves for the plates I already have, but I'm not sure if it will work.
