ZERO chest muscle

My chest somehow looks even less muscular than this photo, it’s literally like a toddlers chest, benching doesn’t improve it, flies and crossovers and dips did nothing for it. My shoulders arms and back have grown a lot but my chest hasn’t changed since I was 12, am I just doomed? It’s extremely depressing and makes me just look like a freak from the front, is there literally anything I can do?

Have you tried actually working out your chest? Stop being such a doomer. Just eat more and hit your chest harder

Dude do a set of pushups right now. Is your chest getting blood pumped into it? Then you can grow your chest.

It is possible for me to get a very very slight chest pump, I’d do it every chest session but it never grew

I'm in the same boat but I used to have good chest, let myself go and how i have real trouble activating it because muscle groups around it are large enough to compensate.

I dont believe you. Did you do it literally once then never again? Are you actually focusing on using your chest? Are you doing the lifts heavy enough? Are you eating right?

I did it for like 6 months and ate loads of protein, my arms and back grew but my chest never changed, I concentrated every time on feeling it in my chest

Did you up the weight? What are your current lifts? Are you Jewish, do you try hard ??????

Yeah I did up the weight and all it did was make my shoulders bigger and stronger, I’m not Jewish and tried extremely hard, I’d literally every set go until I couldn’t lift the bar off me, wriggle it down my legs and do it again, and let’s be honest what I lifted doesn’t matter when there’s people who have a chest from push-ups and I have zero muscle and can barely flex my chest

If you cant flex your chest, you have ZERO mind muscle connection. I'm going to assume you actually werent using your chest for any of those lifts.

Was just different push-up variations, but I can't even activate it properly with chest flys now.

They obviously don’t matter in this context do they when every other muscle on my body grew except my chest, in that case the numbers are obviously irrelevant since it worked for everything else without me having to reach a number you can just use to dismiss me and say come back when you bench whatever

I can flex it but not well, I can’t do a like a pec bounce, I can’t flex it without flexing my back and shoulders too

How would you even use your chest anyway when you have practically no muscle there and when you try isolate it your shoulders just take over

You send the electrical signals through your tendons. You cant not have tendons going to your chest. Use lighter weight and focus on flexing whatever it is you think you dont have

Unironically use a machine that forces you to isolate your chest. Keep knocking out reps till you feel the burn.

Try harder then, do wide stance pushups and focus on actually feeling it in your chest. If you don't feel it then try again and focus on only activating the chest

Is there an alternative to this I could try while the gyms are shut? All push-ups are doing is making my shoulders bigger

Wide push-ups just use your shoulders even more than regular ones and make you use your chest even less than before, push-ups are just a shoulder excercise
