You're going to need to buy all new socks and a couple pairs of shoes while treating it. Rotate the socks twice a day and the shoes every day and then when treatment is over throw them all away. It's caused by athletes foot getting into the toe nail so treat that with cream to avoid reinfection.

I've got the same shit, I'm not taking fungal medication for a toenail it's not worth the hassle when it will just come back.

Gonna just get it removed once lockdown is over.

Take terbinafine pills till the funges nail is completely gone. Took me 3 months. Some people have strong side effects but I noticed nothing.

Look up tea tree oil (melaleuxa), it has antifungal and antiseptic properties, it helped me handle a minor case of athletes foot

Use it in conjuction with all other treatments, just spread the oil across your toenails to prevend it from spreading further

Man I have it worse I have it on both feet on every fucking toenails! Been having it for a decade and I'm only 31 don't know what to do might just have to live with this shit forever which means never taking of my socks in front of people which sucks cause I like the beach and pool.

While toenail fungus obviously only sticks at toenails it weakens up the surrounding skin for further infections

I had a few nails with a fungal infection as a teenager and a course of oral terbinafine wiped them out. Don't bother with topical treatments for nail infections, it won't work. I tried multiple topical treatments over years and it didn't do shit.
Don't drink while you're taking it, and have your doctor do a liver enzyme test part way through the course.
And most importantly when it's gone keep your feet clean and dry so it doesn't come back.

Not him but it made me nauseous and felt minor pain around my stomach, it seemed to impact my gut health so taking it together with probiotics eased a lot of the discomfort

I don't remember dropping anything on it, but it was bloody under the nail like I had and then it was just dead. It's gotten to this point because I tried pulling it off a couple times, it doesn't grow back.

My plan is to just ignore it forever.
