>no one jumping today
cringe Yas Forums you all make me sick

my rope comes on 22nd april i can't do it yet

nigger just go to target and buy one, shipping is taking forever on everything right now and you're missing out on gains

I ordered one today actually. I just want to use it for cardio. I want to be able to do du's as well. Any tricks I should learn?

only shops open are food shops

what's a du user?

bought one a week ago and i can do about 60 skips before im out of breath, i literally bike around 3 hours a day so either biking is super easy or jump rope is super hard, either way i like it a lot

I think a lot of it is form, I'm make excellent improvements, finally did a minute straight (had one error where I had to reset rope position), ended up being somewhere around 80-90 jumps. There's some really good guides online you should check out before going in to it blind. For me, the biggest issue is my calves, I do zero calf workout and they're killing me from jumping so I need to take a day or two off

Double Under

BASED THREAD jumping rope and sprints are the only 2 forms of cardio a man should do (steady state is for faggots, niggers and womemes and I'll fight anyone who disagrees. peace)

As someone who jumps rope and sprints for cardio, I agree wholely.

I jumped rope like 5 times last week for 30-40 minutes each and now my knees hurt. I'm not fat and before the quaranrine I'd already trained legs many times after a knee injury.
Both knees hurt now so I'd reckon the floor is what's causing this. Has this happened to anyone else?

Focus on getting good at singles.

DUs are very difficult for lots of people to learn. Start with learning side swings, alternate foot, boxer steps, and criss crosses. These are pretty easy tricks.

If I had to guess you aren't landing on the balls of your feet and bending your knees properly to absorb the impact of the jumps, look up some form guides and videos friend
what do you mean by steady state user?

Probably overuse. Take a day or two off. When you return, jump on a soft surface like a gym mat or something. You can also try to jump with running shoes instead of trainers. This helps some people

Waiting for mine to arrive in the mail. I've only used one a few times before and proper form is hard as balls. What's a good routine to start off with?

I've found my new hobby. Going to try 10 minutes tonight as a warm-up before lifting.

You overtrained like an idiot. Who the fuck starts out with forty mins of skipping?

What do you mean form? You jump the rope. That's it. Do it till you want to kill yourself and then stop. Takes about 5 minutes if you are in shape.

I can do all tricks (criss cross, double under, leg raises, one leg jump,) but I cant do the squat jump (like mike tyson)
Anyone have some tips?

I'm not aware of my technique, I'll see to that. However, I'm not a beginner since I jumped rope a lot at boxing classes and >crossfit a few years ago.

It's been like 4 days and they still bother me. I used running shoes every time but I didn't use a mat. I'll try one of those camping mats you put underneath the sleeping bag.

steady state cardio is of low intensity, low impact and very time demanding: half an hour, one hour, or even more( your dumbness it's the limit) nonstop physical exercise as oposed to hiit wich is the exact opposite fairly common knowledge user . I guess you coul say jumping rope can be ss especially if you're advanced but in any case it's alot more impactfull than running swiming or biking

My old boxing teacher showed me the proper way to skip and it's very difficult alternating your feet between rotation.

light cardio (walking) is the best to cut fat retard
keep doing your autist jumps while i do 2h long night walks next to the sea with my girlfriend

Where do I find girls like this? Mine complains every time she has to elevate her heart rate even mildly for more than 10 minutes.

Is this a Brian Shaw appreciation thread?

I'll keep jumping rope. Watching me doing double unders always makes your mom wet.

I'd already been jumping rope and running before the quarantine. Plus, it wasn't too intense, just some light jog to sweat a little while watching 2 episodes of It's always sunny in Philadelphia.

Try that. If not its your form. Nice, soft knees. Dont tuck them. Land on the balls of your feet.

Same. Ordered a rope and yoga mat.

sounds like she's not worth the longterm investment. better cut ties now before you turn into her

Hi fellow Yas Forumsizens!
