How am I supposed to remember to keep a good posture all day? Every time I think about my posture I'm slouched and have to fix it, but I've been doing it for hours on end at that point.

Truweo psture corrector. I swear by it.

Isn't that a meme or does it actually work

You can easily find lots of exercises regarding specific bad postures. First step is to identify what the issue is with your posture and then you can move onto fixing the issue. If you keep working on your posture consistently it will improve. If you want to i can link a playlist with a lot of postural exercises.

i only have shit posture when i sit down, i exclusively lie down or stand up now

How is something reminding you 24/7 to not slouch a meme?

what helped me was looking at my reflection every time i passed by a window/mirror, fixing my posture, and going about my day.

Literally just do it, I am right now, actively try not to fuck up. It might hurt your back a bit when sitting but you get used to it quick.

Just try to remember it, put a sticky note on your monitor.
The key is to make small cumulative gains. So maybe your first day you notice you are leaning forward, so you fix it for 5 minutes then go back. You do this a few times, so you maybe get 15-30 minutes of better posture.
Just keep trying to remember and correct whenever you think of it. Soon you will be spending a lot of time in good posture, then your body will slowly adapt to that being your baseline posture.

Yeah, just being self conscious of my body when I look in a mirror really helps, especially in college with windows all over the place.

Remind yourself. Sticky notes, fridge notes, apps, whatever.
But on top of that do some light back exercises from any calisthenic program twice a day. Something that works your erector (hue, penis) spinae, rhomboids and probably even trapeziuses.
Nothing major, just warm them up and activate them. It will also stretch your anterior chain naturally, so it won't be pulling you inward all the time. After that it will be much easier to just be straight and not a bent goblin faggot.

That's why they say progress is slow. Keep at it, it'll get better.

just do deadlifts, straight posture is literally the purpose of the spinal erectors which the deadlift targets so well. I have good posture and i don't even have to think about it,

Work your abs. The sore pain will remind you that you are slouching.

Keep doing it. For the rest of your life. Until you do it unconsciously.

There is no easy way to achieve it.

Set trigger points. For me, it's walking through doorways and switching between mouse and keyboard on my pc. Then link those triggers to straightening yourself. it'll soon become automatic.

Please do this, i've been looking for stretches I can do to fix my back and neck posture as well as regain the movement in my left arm.

Just build some muscles in the right places. That'll hold your body with good posture.

You can't just consciously stand up straight to fix your posture lmao.
You have muscle imbalances that need to be fixed by working out your back.

Do squats to fix lower posture problems, and do pull ups and facepulls for upper back.
Deadlifts are a good one for targeting it all at the same time.

Idk what it's called but if you take one of those unweighted bars/poles you can start by lifting it over your head with your hands out a little bit to form a trinangle.

Then you slowly move your arms behind your head and straighten your shoulders out as you slowly lower the bar behind your back, once you reach that position just breath and do a count of 5 or 10 in your head and do that for a couple of reps. Good way to stretch and adjust your posture so that your shoulders, neck, etc are aligned well.

Head up chest up

This is true shit. Also throw in some dead hangs to loosen up tight/rounded/slouched shoulders

I think they're called shoulder dislocations or something. Jeremy Either has a good posture video with these. You can also do them with bands

this. just started deads again before this dumb fake virus

Redpill me on it. I have shit posture but I want to have not shit posture.

I had very bad atrophy of my left arm and just recently got full control back. It took me over 2 years. I really recommend going to a physiotherapist (the physio i went to gave me the playlist) but you can of course fix posture at home.

what are the right places

I have a bunch of notes placed around my house reminding me to correct my posture. It's also it's my desktop background.

strengthening my back muscles and doing flexing exercises to loosen my packs fixed my posture naturally.
