Seiza posture - harmful of healthy?

Is Seiza healthy or harmful? I was looking into improving my calves's blood circulation and came across this. Some websites say it is great for your health, others say it will give you chronic knee and ankle problems in a short time.
I've practiced it thrice by now, 15 minutes each. My feet hurt a lot and eventually fall asleep. After finishing the practice my ankles hurt for hours, but not too much, I just feel the pain if I rotate them at certain angles, and by the next morning the pain is totally gone. People say it is common to feel pain in Seiza at the beginning, but I'm wondering if the pain I'm going through is normal or the chronic type one that I should be careful with.

First of all, some people are just used to it. There's a woman in that aikido gym that waits for his son to finish training while sitting in seiza position. There is no formal context, she is simply used to that position, that's probably how she sits in her home.
Nips sit like that in tea cerimonies. There's not much to do when your furniture is based on the idea of sitting on the floor. Tea cerimonies take 45 minutes, not 15.
It is true that it is a painful, demanding and taxing position, yes, but don't just dismiss it as being something you do for 15 minutes.
And finally my question is if it will improve or fuck my health, not if I am supposed to do it for more than 15 minutes. I imagine if you spent 5+ hours sitting like that you'd develop health problems (just like you would by sitting on a chair for so much time without rest), but the question is for ~30 minutes of practice which sounds reasonable

I began practicing some days ago and my knees never really hurt, it's just the ankles killing me. But I'm cheating by using a pillow between my legs. Are you doing it raw, without support? That's hardcore even for the nips

Poeple need to practice to do this? I tried it once when I had to sit on the ground at a camp a whi back and just did it for half an hour, no pain or anything. I don't to put of my way to sit like that but when my legs are tired I sometimes sit like that as an alternative.

Did 10 minutes, definitely harder than when I was younger, but not too bad. My big toes started to tingle but after flexing my calves a bit it went away. Worst part is the top of my feet on the hard ground, that's a bit unpleasant.

It's hard but at the same time not impressive. Anyone without chronic knee/ankle problems can do it. Also everyone in Japan is socially forced to do it, and so are people doing aikido classes or other japanese martial art classes. So it's something common, but the catch is that it hurts like hell after ~5 minutes, people just pretend they're comfortable because showing discomfort from seiza is dishonorable and makes you look like a pussy
Now if you could stream yourself holding Seiza for several hours that would be impressive, but only weeaboos and nips would find it impressive, so you'd need to make very targeted advertising to make money. It'd also kill your ankles/knees permanently, but at least you'd have divine back posture.

As a former Samurai-obsessed Ken-sama weeb who used to sit on seiza for hours every day i can tell you that it will fuck your knees up big time. I had to re-wire my mind to stop sitting like that on instinct for a long time in order to heal my knees and still to this day my knees are not great (dead lifting is off the table for me)
