How long did you lift before you achieved a body that looked good shirtless? And were you natty at this point?

I'm a canadian pajeet manlet. Used to be skinny fat.

Took me close to a year to cut down to a normal dyel body using EC.

Then started pushups and curls and light shit with dumbbells for a year. Made little difference on my body but I filled out my shirt lil more.

Started a fullbody 3x/wk routine at the gym, been 7 months now. Also did a lot of curls, shrugs, pullups, and band work. My body has definitely put on muscle mass, my posture has improved greatly, my smaller tees no longer fit, and dudes often grope my traps and ask if I lift.

But I just compared myself to pics from when I lost weight 2 years ago and I don't look much different naked wtf.

26, 5'8", went from 200lbs skinny fat to 150 skinny to 170 with a paunch rn.

2 years 3 times a week lifting, 90 minutes, and 1 time a week cardio.

From looking my worst in May 2011 I was at my most ripped by October of 2012. Went from 208 to 173. Wasn't "big" but definitely looked good for high school standards.

Keep in mind this was at the peak of my teenage years so I had puberty and varsity sports contributing a lot to that. I don't think I could have make the same progress doing the same stuff now.

It takes two years to achieve a body you will be complemented on

It took me about a year of hard lifting daily, extreme cardio, extreme diet and steroids... I went from being very fat and weak to lifting at 2/3/4/5 with decent defined abs in that timeframe. I nearly killed myself from the dietary restrictions and wound up hospitalized 6mo in. Around the year mark, I started to realize how much damage I had done to all of my tendons by increasing lifts that quickly and switched to a healthier program. I’m three years in now and still look good shirtless but my arms aren’t as big as they used to be.
