My fiancée is going to start taking prenatal vitamins soon.
Are they just over-priced multivitamins? or is there some kind that are actually worth it?

I don’t know
You're asking the wrong board dude
They mainly have a shit ton more folic acid then normal vitamins. You can get something it's probably cheaper to do a mulivitamin with a zinc supplement.
But this is your future child so stop being so jewish. It literally 20 dollars a month for some high quality gummy vitamins or 180 for whole term pregnancy.
Do you not have job OP?
what's wrong with just eating food?
Did socrates', jesus', caesar's, etc's mother eat some magic pills to produce great men?
no
avoid inorganic things like plastic (contain xenoestrogens).
My girlfriend took then when she first got pregnant, she said it helped. Even if they are overpriced. I'd rather have a healthy baby no matter how much I have to spend yet alone an extra 15 dollars
Check the Mayo clinic site and you shouldn't ask Yas Forums for advice about pregnancies.
The Weston A Price Foundation promotes hack science as nutritional information. Do not take their word alone on it. Sally Fallon also has no background in nutrition, listening to her at face value is dangerous.
why would you ever go to Yas Forums for advice about this
It's worth it, to my knowledge the dose of folic acid they recommend for pregnant women is by prescription only. I'd do anything I possibly could to give my child the benefits. The average height of humans has been increasing over the centuries because of nutrition, prenatal nutrition is absolutely vital
