aikido, or anything with outdated weapons
For Gras
WWE
What are outdated weapons?
aikido is on the same level as those videos you see of people knocking others out with qi power but a lot of normies think it's legit for some reason
anything made in asia
Coffee
Karate and ju jitsu
Akido. Almost every single other one has at least some level of application or pay off. Akido provides no physical benefit, and actively trains bad habits while providing zero real world application whatsoever. I one hundred percent believe that if you took swing lessons for a year you'd end up a better fighter than if you took akido for 5.
taekwondo
Whichever one you practice for self-defense and not for fun.
CC > big mooscle stronk technique ninjutsu man
Anything that is not from china lmao
bjj isn't even a real martial art. it's not meant to be used on the streets as self defense. it literally was made so men could grapple with other men for exercise with rules. if you use bjj on the streets you'll prob die.
and no, doing a rear naked choke doesn't automatically make it bjj. bjj doesn't have a trademark hold on rear naked choke hold.
muay thai is a massive waste of time and a shit system invented by sea dogs.
I don't breed down - Bronze Age Pervert
Is judo redpilled?
What is a 'real' martial art then?
yes judo is better than jiu jitsu
i'm pretty sure coffee is fine in moderation
Aikido makes you indestructible
nukite karateka is the most useless, unmoving, completely non lethal, safe, un threatening form of karate ever.
Is savate any good? Never hear anyone bring it up. Or Sambo.
Savate
>French shoe boxing
BJJ
> Brazilian meme grappling
Gun-Kata
Obviously the best martial art is determined by their hottest woman.
honestly? to be a purest and say the most useful hand to hand combat martial art is boxing.
boxing allows you to really see the movements of a punch and react to that whether it's blocking with hands/shoulders, head movement or counter punch. and most people on the streets will just be punching.
most gyms that teach variations any kickboxing like muay thai pretty much teaches you a real shitty parry system that will never work on bare fists at full speed, and to brace and block.
there are maybe a few gyms that do mma-style muay thai that will teach you to learn good head movement as well. but your chances of going to such gyms is slim. it will probably be a sanctioned gym with pro and amateur fighters since the coaches are good. the best muay thai fighters have actually learned good head movement like boxing and applied it to muay thai.

i've done both muay thai and boxing and competed amateurs in both.
I think grappling arts only really apply as self-defense if you're fighting one guy you want to subdue or choke out. if there is more than one than you are fucked if you only know bjj.
Dude don't use Samart as an example of what the best style is. Samart is an example of what you CAN do when you're that fucking good. Samart is the fucking Thai god of death and there might not be a man alive right now that can fight like he did.
That being said most of what you said is legit, though I'd say that grappling, especially wrestling, is better than you're making it out to be, because it gives you an option to control the situation other than beating the shit out of someone. If it doesn't work don't do it, but it's easier to prevent a bad situation from escalating if you have more tools in your toolbox than a hammer.
Yes
It's only good with disarms at select entries, maybe MAYBE pain complice on a drunk dude (wrist locks). I know a BJJ black belt that is a black belt Aikido.
Aikido is the hippy cult of the martial arts world. Aikido cherry picked the most peaceful techquines from aiki jujitsu and fed people BS about non violence. If you want something that works with look to aiki jujitsu. The pain and aggression is night and day difference.
Anything that doesn’t include full resistance sparring
What about sparring with protection vs no protection?
