How does anyone sleep consistently? My usual week looks like
9,9,5,9,8,0,12,
The better the quality of sleep the less you need. If someone has enough deep REM cycles they can sleep only 6 hours and be very healthy.
>t: hasn't read the actual evidence, just listens to dunning-krugers on some shit podcast

Stop drinking caffeine and go to the bed the same time every day
Bitch I only sleep 4 hours a night, mostly 3. It's been like this for almost a year, I am having lots of palpitations lately so I guess I better quit the coffee and start doing cardio.
For me it goes:
Under 5 hours: feel shitty and need coffee at least once
5-6 hours: need coffee in the morning but no problems rest of the day
6-7 hours: no coffee needed but not 100%
7-7:30 hours; peak efficiency
I very rarely ever need 8 hours or more, maybe once or twice a month.
I go to sleep every night at 5 or 6 am and wake up at 10. I feel fine but I'm still kind of uneased by it.
ok
bump
For me it's 6-7. Less and I need coffee and a nap. More and I feel slow and sluggish for half a day.
>deep REM
Ask me how I know you've spent less than ten minutes learning about sleep.
