First, let's look at the scientific benefits: >PROVEN BENEFITS OF YOGA • Yoga has been clinically shown to reduce back pain in the short term and long term • Yoga has been shown to improve flexibility
>EARLY RESEARCH PROMISING BUT MORE RESEARCH NEEDED • Yoga has been shown to improve GABA levels, decreasing stress and anxiety. Regular yoga practices have been shown to have up to 27% higher GABA levels. • Yoga has been shown to be a viable therapy for helping individuals recovering trauma to become more aware or their body and mind
>BULLSHIT THAT HAS NO SCIENTIFIC BASIS • Yoga has not shown any scientific evidence of removing toxins from the body or having any effect on internal organs or any other mysticism bullshit
I started doing yoga for lower back pain. I was so inflexible and immovable that doing squats was impossible. I've started to take the 'meditative' side of yoga more seriously. Now I get 'Yoga highs' where I feel intense happiness. I feel like my mind races less in the day, my mood is more stable, and I'm more able to focus. It's a great way to start a morning. It's basically mindfulness but now I get to stretch too, killing two birds in one stone. I am more connected to my body and aware of my own physical state.
I took the mobility pill when quarantine started (it's not like pushups are gonna keep my gains anyway) and now I can touch my toes with my hands while standing : )
Blake Robinson
been on the yoga pill for a few years now. it's some good shit better flexibility, less joint pain, increased strength, better sleep, and increased social connections take the pill. you won't regret it
It's just stretching nigga. Do some stretching, do some calisthenics, and done - without any spiritual nonsense or homo poses.
Xavier Reed
I do it on off days and watch "Yoga With Tim" on YT. I like him because if you're not experienced in the movements, he knows the common errors beginners make and will help you fix them but yoga is even better when I sit on the couch and watch the wife do it in front of me while I shitpost instead

based
have a shorter everyday stretching routine and have a longer routine to do twice a week (it could be the same stretches but doing more sets)
lmao just stretch. if you need to relax, think "inhale-exhale"
Cooper Johnson
Yoga can be so much more than just stretching. Go to a hot yoga class and say "It's just stretching bro" afterward.
Ryan Sullivan
Imagine that perfect ass getting DPed by two hung Black guys while she deepthroats a third BBC
Henry Sanders
I've taken the yogapill. I need the mobility for competitive dancing, and there's not much else I can do locked up at home anyway. Did an hour-long session with my gf yesterday. Actually quite exhausting.
Dominic Hughes
>so much more than just stretching >hurmmm ass broooo coom rhrurmr COOM Oh right, I need to be a coomer going to """"classes"""" like a nerd and pop boners to soccer moms like a creep. It's just stretching, and if you want some ass just go on a date nigga.

Cause I’m not a bitch.

Literally just because of the GABA shit I’m going to do this. Nofap, lifting, and cardio are the only things that have helped my anxiety issues. I’ve been doing cobra pose to help treat a lumbar disc issue and it’s helped A LOT to the point I no longer get sciatica pain in my left leg, although I started getting it in the right one. I’ll look into a beginner routine and do it. I hate having shit mobility and be inflexible
Good thread OP, not many of these around

You just know she loves Black dick.
Jayden Turner
Just fucking use a mobility routine 4+ days a week. No need for some white-baiting poojeet nonsense
>do something different in a more uncomfortable environment and see how different it really is That doesn't mean any goddamn thing, you've just changed the fucking environment. I can go turn off the AC, turn on the oven and leave it open while sitting on my ass on the computer. That doesn't mean I've made the experience more meaningful or worthwhile

Been getting back in the swing of practicing daily. Body feels awesome. I pity the retards who are so insecure about their masculinity that they need to drag yoga because it's vaguely associated with women. Protip: when yoga was first developed, women weren't even allowed to practice it.
>implying that yoga that first world people do bears any relation to the poojeet contortionists begging for coins on designated shitting streets Dude, outing yourself as a midwit with no understanding of cultural context is a bad move. Especially on Yas Forums.
Camden Cooper
You just know she gets around. Probably up for anything but tiny asian cock.

>never been to college wait till you get to uni. Girls fuck just about anyone. Even fat nerds. Just make sure you hang out on campus
Luke Myers
This dude gets it. She has so much more of a playful attitude than other Youtube yoga girls. It just makes it more fun, and much more in the spirit of the practice imo.
Jose Hughes
She also isn't as much of a slut as OP who needs to show skin

My point is that calling yoga "just stretching" isn't very fair. It's like saying running is "just moving your legs". You can walk, jog, run, sprints, intervals, long-distance, medium-distance, short-distance, steady-state, tabata all sorts of things.
Aiden Kelly
Yoga is not just stretching.
Yoga is a practice of mindfulness. Yoga is literally teaching your brain to put up with discomfort. It's a focus on breathing. It's an active experience in rewiring your brain.
The reason that it has been shown to be a promising trauma release is because it is theorized that yoga is a helpful tool in helping individuals regulate their out of balance sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, which many trauma victims suffer from.
Is it the only tool? No. Can 'stretching or mobility' routines work for people looking just to be more flexible? Absolutely. Do other forms of exercise, such as weightlifting, have similar benefits as yoga? Of course. For me, I consider yoga the king of regulating breath and mindfulness because that's the whole point. The stretching and flexibility is a actually a bonus.
"It's just stretching nigga" is an obtuse mindset and there's a reason why everyone reading your posts thinks you're fucking gay.
Lincoln Bennett
Fuck yea I love Yoga with Tim

All women crave BBC, its true

Actually, Sarah Beth Yoga is the GOAT.
Sarah Beth is elite for the following reasons:
1) She narrates the video separately from showing the on screen actions. This means that she isn't awkwardly thinking on the fly or making speaking mistakes. This literally DOUBLES the amount of effort she has to put into each video for your enjoyment 2) She's not a thot 3) Her voice is very professional and soothing 4) She doesn't cram any chakra or Chinese wood medicine bullshit down your throat, but helps you with practical mindfulness tips
She has the best routines. I will say she does start get a little predictable because she loves half-pigeon and jams it into every routine, but SaraBethYoga is my favorite channel.
