Not sure where you live brother but I'm in ontario Canada and I'd say 8 or 9 out of 10 people look like shit and they eat multiple meals a day, I'm starting to think the warrior diet is really onto something because I couldn't lose shit until I started IF
I eat very little carbs with my 1 meal a day, I mostly eat steak and eggs or chicken and salad once per day

I'm also a leaf actually. And while I'm being a bit hyperbolic here (like I said, I pretty much IF myself just because I ignore hunger most of the time) the point is that avoiding hunger pangs is just a 'trick' and will put you in a bad state mentally into thinking that the only way you can overcome adversity is by lessening it. Dieting is hard. You will crave food. If you can find ways to decrease the adversity, then go for it, but if not that doesn't mean you should give up. If you're hungry and shouldn't be eating, then don't fucking eat, no matter how hard it is.
