It's a degradation of religious values that's cratering society, and not simply Judeo Christian religion. Values of modesty, chastity and virtue. It took us tens of thousands of years to try to codify the way that we should live as a society and a species to prevent animalistic tribal lizard brain from holding us back. That's part of the allegory of the 40 years in the desert.

The upshot was that we uplifted the entire species to heights that were unimaginable; arts, literature, mathematics, philosophy etc.

And then the atheists and the progressives and the degenerates come along and act as though morality was all so fucking obvious. Well it isnt you dipshits, and it shows. Society and culture is slowly circling the drain the world over because of these attitudes. We've all taken the bounty and tossed aside the very thing that provided us that bounty in the childish and selfish belief that we've outgrown the need for it.

But the silver lining is that those values and morals transcend time place and duty, and they'll be waiting to recieve us back with open arms just as soon as we gain the wisdom and humility to go home. That's who God is. He isn't a man, He's the manifestation of the morals we need to recapture that spark of creation that humans are so capable of.
