I'm on day 5 of a fast. How long can I go safely without supplementing anything on just regular old water? I'm feeling fine still. Should I just wing it as long as I feel good?

No. Drink the snake juice. Extended water fasting is no joke, shit is dangerous. In a way I'm impressed if you've gone that long with just water, but that's not good.

You will know when you try it when you'll need it. Personally, I use about a tsp of sodium/potassium each over the course of an entire day. Just keep sipping it, don't down it all. If you feel bad, drink some more. Just try it out and see how you feel, that's the only way to know.

How is alternate day fasting for small cuts? Does it ruin gains? Looking to lose about 5-10kg before the lockdown ends, which looks like it'll take about 2.5 months if I follow ADF.

ADF is pretty mild fasting but still solid for fat loss.
A year ago I ate and lifted M/W/F and fasted the rest with a 48 on weekends and it worked really well.

Did you find that it negatively affected your lifts or made you overeat on non-fasting days? Did you do much cardio during it?

I did no cardio and yeah, my lifts were much weaker because of this aggressive approach to fasting.
I regained strength very fast though so it didn't matter.

I see. So you essentially only ate for 3 days a week then? I might try this but with eating 4-5 days a week since it's a small cut and the quarantine ain't ending anytime soon imo.
As far as I'm aware type 2 diabeetus will only manifest if you're overweight or VERY unhealthy.

I can't get over the first few days hurdle

I live in a household wehre food is constantly being cooked, the fridge is constantly stocked and I have no self control. The longest I went is one day. I know the fasting works, I know I can loose ridiculous amounts of weight. I'm stuck in the 270s because I can't stick to fasting.

Is there any possible way I can tell the hunger hormone ghrelin to go fuck itself? Its this fucking ghrelin hormone that is impeding my progress. Can you remove the ghrelin hormone from your body?

I'm seething with rage. I ate a sausage and biscut and had a sip of coke. I fucking HATE being fat.

I'm in the same situation, my favorite foods are being cooked every day but I just learn to live with it, it's no excuse.
You just need to stop eating, as dumb as that sounds.

That won't really do much, you could try doing something like OMAD first, then doing a 48 or two etc., however.

How do you even do keto properly? Everytime I've tried, I've ended up craving meat like crazy and eventually diminished the fats (that aren't on meat) to the point where I was eating 80% meat 20% fat.

Beef, chicken, turkey, pork, eggs, and so on. Meanwhile if it's too greasy/fat it starts making me puke.

Depends on the fast. 1-2 days shouldn't be an issue but any longer and it'll fuck with your hormone release or some shit.

You don't need any of that unless you're going for a very long fast
