Started reading Childhood's end.
Trying to find a "thought of the day" every day in the Bible and philosophical works I've got lying around.
Not bad
I tryed "childhood's end" because of its intesting premise but I came to the realization that I don't like sci-fi and had to put it down
The premise is what made me pick it up in the first place. I'm very much into Sci-Fi and all sorts of dystopic fiction.
Planning to read Kite Runner at some point, that's supposed to be pretty good

I got a friend who is addicted to lottery tickets and we were talking about the probability of him winning, I googled this shit and started learning probabilities and this shit is so amusing, it's like playing a puzzle
Anyone can recommend a good Math book to learn probabilities more?
Since we're all weebs here, I would like to recommend Taiko and Musashi by Eji Yoshikawa. Also out of the Hemingway books I've read so far, I enjoyed Paris the most.
And if you haven't already, you should read rich dad, poor dad by Robert Kyosaki.
It was truly the pinnacle of this degenerate website - the beautiful and harmonious combination of two worlds.
How far did you get in your maths education? How much probability do you know?
it was beautiful indeed
Highschool level, I understood the basics (coin flip, colored balls inside of black boxes...)
Musashi is a great book! Really fun despite some parts of it not making any sense to a modern Western audience.
I would like to recommend 'My war gone by and I miss it so' it's the memoirs of a war photographer in the Serbian wars. Not very fit related but it's a fun read.
Does anyone know any fit inspiring books besides the obvious Sun and Steel, Count of Monte Cristo and that sort of shit ? This quarantine shit has left me somewhat unmotivated. I'd also appreciate more technical books related to fitness/nutrition.
Do all the probability in A level maths, theres not much
Then do all the stuff in A level further (again not much)
Then look at the probability courses at any uni for 1st year and see which textbooks they use
Read Storm of Steel.
/fitlit/ starting pack
>The Iliad
> Storm of Steel
> Bronze Age Mindset
Then read Mishima (but you need to have a 400lbs squat)
If you are at undergrad level any introductory textbook will do. If you lack the basics, read something like
>Bayesian Statistics the Fun Way
Which is quite light and can get you an introduction to the topic.

Currently reading meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Good one
Just finished reading Herodotus' Histories, it was probably one of the most interesting books i've ever read. Not necessarily the best, but most interesting for sure. Mostly because while you are reading you will easily start projecting yourself into an ancient greek state of mind. And thus, the more you read the more you will understand the various characters and places. It's truly amazing. A must read.
Really want to read that after finishing the odyssey.
Another recomendation in the field of nutrition
>Bronze Age mindset
>brainlet
Currently reading Thucydides. It's great. The Greeks were way weirder than I thought.
