I posted here about 4 months ago after eating 1500 calories for a week and losing about 4lbs (water weight, I know)
I asked if this was all I had to do to lose weight and was told that although exercising and eating healthy is the best way, a calorie deficit will work too.
Well I've stuck at 1500 calories a day for just over 4 months now and I've lost 55lbs! Picture is embarrassing but fuck it, fat lazy cunts like me need to know its possible!
My height is 5'9 - 5'10 so online it says I should weigh between 145lbs and 170lbs. I'm going to start the gym soon and build muscle so probably near the top end at around 170 - 180lbs or something I don't really know!
This is important, dont get complacent and fall back into old habits

Even your posture has improved. You no longer look like a fucking retard. Proud of you. Don't forget to do some resistance training so you can fill that loose skin and get some passive calorie burning from the added muscle.

KEEP GOING DONT STOP GO GOG GO

Holy shit user. Youre based. Keep going and leave this shithole known as Yas Forums. I believe in u user
One thing I told myself when I started was although 1500 calories a day is only temporary, you can never go back to how you was. I knew I'd be counting calories till the day I die to make sure I don't go above maintenance.
Everyone always said don't think of it as a diet because diets end. Think of it as a lifestyle change, so thats what I did. I accepted the fact that I'll never be eating the same way again. It helped weirdly lol

Great don't stop. Praise God.

>I'm going to start the gym soon You probably won't be able to. If you have space buy a pull-up station like pic related and start doing burpees: youtube.com/watch?v=tJrdJBWBu08
I hope it's 1500 calories of protein. If your not getting 200-250g of protein your probably gonna look really bad at the end of your cut. My first cut I was on 1200 calories a day where I got maybe 100g of protein and looked like shit after 3 months.
Also fuck the gym. Start doing pushups, bodyweight squats, and find some place to do inverted rows. 5x20 3x a week.

Good job, dude. Quite impressive actually

this, start doing simple home workouts on top of your deficit, this will probably trigger a decent amount of noob gains

>Think of it as a lifestyle change
This is the key here. I don't know if you are trash or bigger portions or both but, after some time, the urge to binge eat or to eat trash goes away. For instance, people at work tend to bring a lot of chocolate when they come back from holidays or when it's their birthday. I decided to stop eating those and I don't even crave them when I see them anymore. I'll only serve myself if they brint something rare.
dude, start lifting as soon as possible, you will lose fat faster and already build muscle

Body weight exercise is a decent option at this stage. Lifting will obviously be better but with recent events, there's reasons to avoid going to a gym. Maintaining calorie restriction while lifting is the hardest part, especially because your weight will fluctuate a lot which is discouraging. You have to switch from focusing on the scale to focusing on your sets.
