Simply not true though, they have shown the same WEIGHT LOSS. However in multiple studies hormone balance was much better when doing IF or fasting resulting in better body composition.
And if you arent retarded or anorexic you dont actually care what you weight just how you look. So retaining more muscle and losing more fat is a huge advantage even when you lose the same weight overall...

Fasting only has benefits if the alternative is a toxic/inflammatory diet, and most diets are inflammatory due to all the plant foods in them (and low quality animal foods). If you're eating like grass fed meat, wild fish, free range eggs, top tier stuff like that then fasting will have no benefit at all. But if you're eating that well you will find you will go a lot longer between meals so you will be quasi-fasting every day.
