Nothing is worth drinking except water and milk, preferably human breast milk.
green tea
>tastes good
>has at least two performance enhancing chemicals in it (l-theanine and caffeine)
>contains several other substances which have other benefits
>easy to obtain
Chamomile is the best because it's not true tea.
Yea green tea has been heralded as healthy and good, so figured it'd show up, although I was under the impression that it was without caffeine, could perhaps be different kinds of green tea?
And why is that good?
As bad as coffee
tea is good for you but it tastes like shit so I prefer coffee, heavy cream and water instead
>he drinks inflammatory A1 casein
NGMI
is coffee good for you?
I've heard peppermint/any mint, licorice, green tea, and I think maybe one or two others all reduce free test. But that could be memeshit. Just in case I save my green tea for later in the day when my T has already dropped a bit anyways.
Btw ginger tea a best.
Why, due to caffeine? There's teas without it, although, not certain caffeine is bad for you. At least not to everyone.
literally any tea is good
black tea < green tea < matcha
in that order for antioxidants
hibiscus tea I think has the most antioxidants, mint teas, chamomile tea, nettle, even pine needle tea is all good and have different vitamin profile and shit. add lemon or lime (slices or just the juice is fine) for extra taste and vitamins
there is no reason to drink plain water when all these beautiful stinky leaves exist
Yea also encountered something similar, could as you say be some memeshit. Any knowledge on black teas?
coffee is only bad for the environment. If you have less than half a dozen cups a day you are sound
Kek
tea is for women you fucking sissy
I've done a few searches on google.scholar about the effect of tea on hormones in men, the effect of tea on hormones in women (found very little)
I did searches on the effects of tea on health and there was a crazy amount of studies praising it. even when I searched "negative effects of tea on health" most of the studies on the first page were focused on the benefits of it
yikes
yeah and milk is for babies
Some studies suggests liquorice and mint reduce test so it’s a big no no.
Hm, well, yea have heard and read a little but not extensively, also been exposed to a bunch of shit posting and memeshit. But that's interesting then.
dilate
correct
even though it's not technically a tea, yerba mate is the most underrated liquid on earth. absolutely mogs any actual tea, including green tea in its nutritional content. i feel sorry for those who are not /yerba/pilled.
Black tea is pretty based, good with sugar but also okay without it.
green or black in the morning, chamomile before bed. All you need to know
pu erh
i heard that if you drink 3+ cups of tea a day you can burn 180
Alright, I drink mostly white loose leaf tea, and want to drink green tea, but I get this weird thing where if I drink loose leaf green tea, I get a splitting headache right in the middle of my forehead for about half an hour. It's consistent, I can replicate it any time of day, its definitely caused by loose leaf green tea, but I don't get it with other tea types.
I've googled to hell and back and I can't find anyone who has this.
Drink green tea -> within minutes, splitting headache between my eyebrows -> 30 minutes later, goes away.
anyone ever heard of this mess? I love white/black tea and would love to add green tea to my mix, but damn if there is something about it that fucks with me.
calories,i forgot to write that
Can't say I experience that, cod it be the brand or batch that's trash? Have you tried other brands of loose leaf green? Does bags work? Honestly no idea.
I've tried a lot of different brands. If I'm being honest I think its tied to the temp of extraction; If I use even slightly higher than recommended, I get a more concentrated headache, where if I basically underextract with lower steeping time or lower temp, its not nearly as bad and is more of a dull ache
I don't really experience it with bag-tea, but always with loose-leaf tea
Yeah for the first time in my life, its a problem which no one else seems to have talked about on the internet, and its not a real problem so its not like I can go to the doctor and be like "I WANNA DRINK GREEN TEA" and they're gonna waste any resources on it
Yeah dude, I'd just say green tea isn't for you. Personally once I noticed that I was giving myself headaches, I wouldn't just keep trying it over and over.
All teas are good for you to some extent. My favourite teas are Taiwanese oolongs. They probably don't have as many health benefits as green or white teas cause of the oxidation process, but they're fucking delicious.
Green teas can cause pretty bad nausea if you drink them on an empty stomach. I'd suggest eating a light snack beforehand if you aren't doing so already. And yeah, I wouldn't brew greens any higher than 80°C. It's certainly better for the flavour, if nothing else.
Lol no it's more like 10-20 kcal
Ginger lemon and rooibos are the goat
I also drink peppermint/mint/liquorice tea but some research suggests they lower testosterone levels in men
you might as well not bother drinking de-caffeinated green tea. It removes the vast majority of the anti-oxidants from it.
Ginger tea, always makes me have the best shits ever. Also it's a very unique flavour, spicy. It's very good with lemon if you have a cold.
Also, consider yerba mate. I'm not sure if it counts as tea but it's the same for me. It has a little bit more of caffeine than regular but still less than coffee. Always keeps me up when I have to study.
Drink Earl Grey tea
Based mate poster.
It also helps you bond with people. I started talking to a girl form work by including her in the mate round and I eventually made out with her.
We argies have ultra strong immunological systems from sharing mate in rounds of 10 people since highschool
I started at 23 during my last year of university, I missed out.
Mate is also great after a night of getting shitfaced. One sip and my body starts purging everything out of my ass like a bazooka.
Do people actually accept mate out there? I know that in USA there's some shitty brand of canned ''mate'' that is probably cold mate cocido and it's popular, but never heard of people doing mate rounds and such. IMO it's an aqcuired taste, it's a very particular kind of bitter and not for everyone. I can only imagine people being disgusted by the straw sharing thing, or just trying it once out of curiousity and frowning instantly.
Take the pu-erh pill. Has antioxidants, cardioprotective properties and probiotics to keep you brappin.
I'm an argie so I don't know. I meet with foreigners once a week and they're enthusiastic about it but I guess it's because they want to have the full argie experience while they're here.
Yorkshire tea is better
>This nigger started to drink mate at 23
I assumed you weren't. Hi fellow local fitizen
There's some evidence that tea is good for you but the effects are very minor.
Yeah I didn't like it growing up and spent many years without trying it. I guess it's an acquired taste.
Hello to you too, wachín.
this but if you're drinking like once in a full moon it's k, same goes for beer(those hops) and the likes which are detrimental to test
based fellow ginger tea drinker, I also like to do ginger + lemon peel + sticks of cinnamon and sweetened with some good local honey
>tfw scandi mate drinker
>tfw miss out on social mate drinking because no one knows wtf it is
what brands do you guys drink in argentina? i just order pic related online, but i am obviously just self-initiated into the art of mate so if you have any reccomendations i am all ears.
Tea=gay coffee
I drink Playadito and Union mainly.
At work we had a poll to decide what yerba the company would provide us and Playadito won by a landslide.
Why'd you start drinking it? I'm genuinely curious.
the catechins in green tea do, indeed, assist in adipocyte alpha1 signalling.... but burning 200 calories? nah man, maybe 20-50 if you drink it all day BUT.... it does make mobilizing fat easier, thus the logic of it ASSISTING in weightloss.
If you want a drink that outright demands energy expenditure, it's cold h2o (studies put daily increase in energy expenditure at 100+ calories simply due to the heat it demands). I drink ice-cold green tea with some other bells and whistles mixed in, shits fucking awesome (gonna start carbonating it soon too). If you want to make it an energy drink, add cucumber slices (with the skin) and a broken up citrus fruit (I like mixing it up between orange, blood orange and lime, though lemon is supposed to be better for you). DELICIOUS.
I like a nice ginger green tea, a cinnamon tea, and a chamomile to fall asleep sometimes.
cool, I see the online shop has playadito so I'll try it out.
just stumbled upon a youtuber that was raving about how healthy it was so i ordered some. really liked how it tasted and the whole thing with the bombilla and gourd and really enjoyed how less jittery and balanced the caffeine buzz was. also coupled really well with fasting because of the electrolytes and stuff, so i drink it every day now.
coffee is for faggots, it tastes like shit and gives you bad breath
>all the people itt claiming now downsides to tea.
I know many teas, especially green tea have tons of fluoride. You should be careful and pay attention to how they're sourced many are contaminated.
Only if you buy shitty coffee and don't know how to brew it properly.
>ywn drink mate in a comfy scandi country
WHY LIVE
Never heard of that one, seems like it tastes like shit NGL, maybe it's the bright yellow package that makes me distrust it. In my house we prefer nobleza gaucha, rosamonte or cruz de malta. People from other places that are more invested in the hobby of brewing say that paraguayan yerba has a different taste with a little bit of smokyness to it, personally I've never tried.
Get your friends/classmates/coworkers into it brah. It's nice to share when it gets cold. I just noticed that being a mate brewer among people who never heard of such thing could be a nice ''party trick''. Even here the one dude who brews mate nicely is well praised and often the AMOG.
I drink a nice cup of tea in the morning, always makes me poop. I work on big building so it would be a pain in the ass if I had to take a shit before lunch.
What your describing sounds like caffeine withdrawal. I had similar symptoms after college from drinking tea on a regular schedule. Try herbal tea or don’t drink it regularly, especially not every single morning. The headaches will last less than a week if you quit.
