How do you recommend doing so?
Is the steam version a good way to play ff7 for the first time?
>Enemy skill
I actually have this materia but don't know what to do with it. I'm playing blind. Is this game clearable blind or am I going to have to look up a guide since I'm missing so much shit?
But the original is actually good
It's not terrible. You're forced to make a Squeenix account to even play the game and every save tries to sync with cloud saving unless if you're absolutely online, then it just waits for the cloud save to time out (10 seconds) and saves offline.
There's minor graphical changes (chibi models with a permanently open mouth, PS1 version had no mouths) and a wrong musical track playing in some important cutscenes but it runs well for a really old game. I mean, it's cheap, right?
ive been replaying it too on pc and mini games are awful. couldnt even do 1 squat.
You'll clear it no problem. But the enemy skill works like blue magic in previous FFs. You gotta survive a hit from a learnable skill to actually learn it though. Make sure to have it equipped on you at all times. You'll be glad you did.
don't listen to these retards. emulating is a huge pain in the ass and the remake is nothing like the original.
the steam version is fine, just make sure you set it to the original music version in the options. also don't fuck with the cheats.
It's the best version because you can mod it.
>You'll clear it no problem.
Alright, thanks.
I'm emulating it and I would be in hell if it was the steam version. I just fast forward through most of the battles and walking around the overworld.
