This is the fourth time that the first Xenoblade is being released since it came out for the Wii. It's funny it took until Xenoblade 2 which is the most controversial in the Xenoblade series to be release for it to really explode in popularity, despite the fact a lot of fans for the first Xenoblade seem to hate it yet without it I doubt they would had bother releasing for a fourth time. Usually with re-releases of old titles sales tend decline then actually increase. The only reason why I see them releasing it again as a remaster is because they probably believe they will gain profit from the new blood that came in because of Xenoblade 2.

you can find complete box copies of both the Wii and 3DS versions of Xenoblade for 30-50 bucks depending on the version.
If a game sells more than a million copies is sold more than enough, even if other games reach over 20 millions sales, the game that sold only a million did well enough to be consider a success.
The orinal xenoblade sold poorly but hte 3ds port did a better job and XC2 sold over 1 million copy thank to people in twitter and resetera crying over Dhalia's big boobs and Pyra's clothes.
