Finished Tales of Eternia on hard today.
But won't bother with the ng+ dungeon.
Gonna move on Star Ocean 2, never finished that one, but what version is better, psx or psp?
the psp one plays better, but fuck the new character portraits.
star ocean 1 got another remaster recently, im personally waiting to see if 2 gets the same treatment.
About FF 12, I'm at Paramina at almost lvl 30 on Internation Zodiac Job System. Should I switch to The Zodiac Age? Heard they added job switch

I would actually suggest following a non spoiler sidequest guide. There is a shitload of great missables in Vesperia.
Would I miss the sidequests if I talk with every npc and check every spot ?

I'm a big fan of JRPGs but i keep having trouble finding one that isn't exactly based on grinding
some of my favorite turn-based and action games involve the posibility of you taking on high level bosses with little gear and level as possible, almost like speedrun it if you are good enough with the mechanics, anything like this?
