I'd say instead of arenas with platforming sections between them just have sprawling levels that are filled with demons.

What does this mean? There's infighting. Though admittedly when I saw the shit going down in the Final Sin level in the building you're supposed to jump to, with the tyrants, cyber mancubi and all sorts of other shit I stood there for a good 5 minutes and not one demon killed another demon.

Have only one secondary fuction for each weapon, as it stands one of the two weapon mods for each weapon is shit and you'll generally use just one of them.

I'd give the Super Shotgun a powerup to instantly recharges the hook if you kill the demon you're currently hooking. I'd remove the Marauder's shield, make him faster, spawn him in the middle of the big fights and not at the end of them, and encourage the player to kill him using the Crucible in a parry minigame. Parrying him twice in a row would kill him and add one Crucible charge.
