Updates that did more damage to TF2 than good

Snipers are annoying but a necessary counter to Heavy/Medic, who would absolutely stomp every game otherwise.

I'm still mad about the Dragon's Fury nerf, using that weapon for the first time felt incredible for me and I didn't even believe it was unbalanced

For scout to """"""""""""oneshot"""""""""""""" you, he has to land two projectiles, one of which he has to land from a distance.
A sniper can oneshot you by clicking your head with his left mouse button.
There is no contest, scout's loadout was about limiting his potential to turn him into a one-trick-pony, and whenever he fucks up, he fucks up badly, since he has wasted time throwing two projectiles and missed one of them.
If you're going to make the argument that unsuspecting targets have no chance to dodge, remember that a medic or soldier is basically dead when a scout is allowed to approach him from behind.

>REEEEEE PYRO NO SKILL, GIVE PYRO SKILL WEAPON
>REEEEEE IM DYING TO THE NEW PYRO WEAPON VALVE NERF VALVE NERF VALVE NERF
I can't tell who I hate more, the people who cry everytime pyro kills them or valve for listening to them.

Dead game

Daily reminder that the Manconomy update killed TF2.

>he has to land two projectiles, one of which he has to land from a distance
Once a Scout landed the Sandman ball, he could walk right up to the target and throw the FG right in their face because they were slower and couldn't do anything. They could do this at anywhere from close to mid range, and still have the mobility to escape when/if they failed.
>clicking your head
Snipers need a sight line and good positioning to consistently be able to do this, and if anyone gets in their face, there is very little they can do to survive except get off a lucky shot. "Just click on the head" seems simple enough on paper, but there are more factors at play than this.
>the argument that unsuspecting targets have no chance to dodge
Nobody is making that argument. The point is that Sandman balls were relatively low risk, and once they connected the target was almost completely unable to avoid the FG.

It gave birth to the tradefaggot community who, although usually a free kill, unleashed a wave of scammers into the game. It didn't kill TF2, it just gave it aids.

Nothing will ever be as destructive to the game as their disastrous attempt at introducing matchmaking.
