>Updates that did more damage to TF2 than good I feel Jungle Inferno did a lot more damage to TF2 than MyM and was a botched update that was obviously rushed out to meet the growing hype and garnered a ton of unwanted attention to the game from annoying children.
whichever update destroyed the sandman sandman + guillotine combo was so much fun, I fucking hate compfags
John Wilson
pff okay I'll bite what did Jungle Inferno do other than "not meet expectations"? it didn't sabotage an important aspect of the game like MyM, F2P, or Mannconomy did.

The update that got rid of headshot immunity with the piss sniper set

Banana bay is kino
Jonathan Cooper
Nah, Jungle Inferno was a net positive. They fucked Pyro up but they undid their fuckup less than a year later. It was a big influx of content and bugfixes and good balance changes.
Wyatt Martinez
>scout can oneshot anyone except Heavy without any way to fight back So glad this AIDS was removed.
Samuel Rivera
>get overhealed while wearing this set >never die This was dumb but I loved it. Can you imagine it with the Vaccinator now?
Blake Morris
But sniper is still in the game.
Landon Hall
Snipers are annoying but a necessary counter to Heavy/Medic, who would absolutely stomp every game otherwise.
Levi Brooks
I'm still mad about the Dragon's Fury nerf, using that weapon for the first time felt incredible for me and I didn't even believe it was unbalanced
Robert Powell
For scout to """"""""""""oneshot"""""""""""""" you, he has to land two projectiles, one of which he has to land from a distance. A sniper can oneshot you by clicking your head with his left mouse button. There is no contest, scout's loadout was about limiting his potential to turn him into a one-trick-pony, and whenever he fucks up, he fucks up badly, since he has wasted time throwing two projectiles and missed one of them. If you're going to make the argument that unsuspecting targets have no chance to dodge, remember that a medic or soldier is basically dead when a scout is allowed to approach him from behind.

>REEEEEE PYRO NO SKILL, GIVE PYRO SKILL WEAPON >REEEEEE IM DYING TO THE NEW PYRO WEAPON VALVE NERF VALVE NERF VALVE NERF I can't tell who I hate more, the people who cry everytime pyro kills them or valve for listening to them.

Dead game
Isaiah Anderson
Daily reminder that the Manconomy update killed TF2.
Jayden Nelson
>he has to land two projectiles, one of which he has to land from a distance Once a Scout landed the Sandman ball, he could walk right up to the target and throw the FG right in their face because they were slower and couldn't do anything. They could do this at anywhere from close to mid range, and still have the mobility to escape when/if they failed. >clicking your head Snipers need a sight line and good positioning to consistently be able to do this, and if anyone gets in their face, there is very little they can do to survive except get off a lucky shot. "Just click on the head" seems simple enough on paper, but there are more factors at play than this. >the argument that unsuspecting targets have no chance to dodge Nobody is making that argument. The point is that Sandman balls were relatively low risk, and once they connected the target was almost completely unable to avoid the FG.
Tyler Collins
It gave birth to the tradefaggot community who, although usually a free kill, unleashed a wave of scammers into the game. It didn't kill TF2, it just gave it aids.
Aaron Roberts
Nothing will ever be as destructive to the game as their disastrous attempt at introducing matchmaking.

September 16, 2013 Patch - Updated The Sticky Jumper to only allow 2 active stickybombs at a time.
Going so fast it was like teleporting past sentries.

Old SJ + old caber = Snipers seething.

December 20, 2013 Patch
Changed attributes: Hype no longer grants mini-crits. Added Hypemode which grants up to 5 extra air jumps when active. Hypemode is triggered by Alt-Attack when hype is full.
soldier can do that and he doesnt even need to aim
Julian Sanchez
He can't do that unless he gets a random crit, which almost all classes are capable of getting and one-shotting with. Or he's using the CM alt-fire.
Benjamin Gonzalez
>shoot feet >2 rockets enough to kill any 125 class
Jacob Gray
>N-NOOO! SCOUT CAN'T JUMP MORE THAN TWICE! HOW WILL I CLICK HIS FEET! I DON'T WANNA UNEQUIP THE GUNBOATS! I love stomping Soldiers with the Popper. It'll get nerfed into uselessness because of compfags though.
Brody Ortiz
>soldier can oneshot anyone without any way to fight back >oneshot >2 rockets
and how can sandman one shot people? You need at least two shots check m8 and dial 8
Kevin Walker
>Implying we will ever see a tf2 update again
Aiden Ramirez
>compfags Don't they just ban weapons in their leagues they don't like? Also, are you
Christian Wood
You mean >make pyro a genuine threat at close range thanks to a bug >give him a cool weapon and a bunch of shitty ones >Heavy gets a great item >"patch" the game >add the bug in reverse >nerf to the ground the new weapon >add more bugs >pyro is even more broken in the bad way: he doesnt hit max damage unless he spergs with the flamethrower >It was a big influx of content and bugfixes and good balance changes. No, just no
