Switch Physical VS Digital

pirate digital

I tend to buy and keep physical for games of saga's that i follow, the only exception is new horizon's since i knew beforehand it was going to be a nightmare since you play in different times of the day multiple times

Are digital games linked to an account or to the console?

physical for single player games, digital for multiplayer

Physical. I mean if you're taking the thing with you you're going to have a carry case with you anyway. Not to mention unlike the other systems they don't install the game.

Digital if you are a tism child who cant drive to the store to buy a game and learn how to open the case and put it in.
Physical if you are a chad to sell later

I have 2 switches. Generally I'm looking for physical so
1. I don't have to load the same game on 2 consoles.
2. I can resell the game later when it inevitably starts to gather dust over time.
3. I can switch it between consoles without having to once again, load it on 2 switches.

I buy digital so
1. I can re-download it on every console and utilize cloud saves.
2. Certain games on certain devices
3. No matter what the state of my switch I have a digital download ready to access.
4. You get 3% money spent back in coins that you can use towards future purchases. The advantage here is that a physical game is 1% money spent back. So it's more lucrative to buy digital.

I want to say that 60% of the switch library is pick your preference, but I've already purchased animal crossing twice so that I have complete options due to having multiple people use multiple consoles.

Technically Sony has a larger physical library.
