You don't. It's a mediocre game that's regressed from all the good level design, movement, difficulty, powerups, etc. found in previous titles. When ONE level of the entire game feels like something on par with SUPER MARIO 64 of all things (that being the level leading up to the Bowser final boss) you know the game is tripe. I will admit the movement is absolutely fantastic (but still weighed down by shitty waggle mechanics so handheld mode makes doing actions impractical), but it's wasted on such a baby-tier difficult game with level design I could navigate in my sleep. Fuck this game and everyone who sung praise for it, if this is going to be the future of Mario games, the franchise is dead.
