it's probably still better than how LOTD's AI will just straight up freeze for a good two or three minutes if you have it in a corner

I think the idea was to somehow give it to your opponent to lock them out from using anything? At least that's how he uses it in the anime if I remember correctly. I'm not sure there are any spells that were printed in the TCG that can actually give active continuous spells to your opponent though

It would actually be way better if Tristan and Tea botherede dueling more in the main series instead of just background sidekick.
The fact even Tea has more duels than Tristan never ceases to amuse though.
